Danner Manufacturing, Inc., The Fountain Pump, 200 GPH Water Pump, 01717 Black

This the 2nd pump for our fountain and the fist lasted about 10 years and this one is performing like the first.

This was the first Danner pump I have purchased. The description here on Amazon was a bit lacking so I went directly to Danner's website. According to Danner's website and the instruction manuals provided on the website, this pump can be used submerged or inline with an included adapter. The pump literally arrived at my door 5 minutes ago and I'm going to have to return it.The attachment to convert the pump to inline operation was not included. My application requires an inline setup, so I guess I'm out of luck. There are also no barb fittings included. I mean, come on, the title of the product reads "Statuary Pond Pump with Barb Fittings" and there are no barb fittings.This may actually be a great pump, it may not be. I really have no idea because it didn't include the pieces required for me to use it.I must say, I'm more than a little disappointed. I don't think I'll be buying another Danner pump.

Got for regular size fountain, appropriate for it’s size, but not enough pressure to really move water…had a Danner before that worked well and lasted for years…same size as old, but quality is not the same. Pump starts off fine, but diminishes to a trickle shortly.🧐

I have a 55 Gallon tank set up, and this works great for getting water into my tank instead of treating water and dumping gallon pitcher by gallon pitcher at a time. The only problem was it was missing the barb adapters. The tube shown on the top of the pump is exactly ½ in. I am still not sure how to use the ¼ in. tubing adapter. If you are looking for a cheap pump that works, this is it.

I bought this pump for a cig multi tank sump filter and so far its been nothing but problems. I have 1/2 in tubing connected to it and if I even move the pump a little bit the adapter piece pops out of the pump and I have water everywhere. It also runs extremely loud. I am in no way satisfied with this product. I am going to have to order a new pump from a different company and now I'm going to have 6 tanks with no heat or filtration until I recieve a new pump

I originally bought this pump to power a homemade outdoor fountain, but ended up using it to power a DIY aquarium filter and its worked perfect! ☺
