How long can you keep cereal in it before getting stale?

The longest I have had cereal in it is about 21 days, never got stale as long as the top is firmly in place, and the caps are put back on below the dispenser paddles. Note, this is not a "super" durable dispenser, made of plastic. Turning the paddles completely can crush cereal to crumbs, found best to use a 1/4 to 1/3 turn back and forth works best to keep cereal intact. Rushing or forcing use, or unnecessary pressure can cause breakage of the unit. My grandkids like it and learned quickly how to use it properly (to keep from breaking it).

how sealed it this? can bugs get into it?

No bugs can’t get in.there is a plastic seal that comes with the dispenser that goes in the bottom of it. And it locks out any air and any other things that might go in. Also it keeps any dry cereals or other dry products that goes in the dispenser.

Product came with missing tried number where it says to call if missing parts number was disconnected. Anyone know a good phone number?
