It’s one for painting, not staining.
It is a different wood that the 3 other appliqués I bought from Amazon. All the other ones had no problem with stain, this one is not absorbing the color. I sanded it first and stained them all, this one was even the first one I did, so the stain was on the longest and it ended up being the lightest. The picture below is after 3 coats, and all the other ones only needed the 2.

I had to glue it together it was broken
It was broke when I received the product I had to glue it together before adding it to the shelf

sprayed in a gold tone and ihstalled on a cherry vanitorium for a few dollars added a much supperior look to the vanitorium

It's a nice design
The product itself is okay. I can't use it because it's not big enough. I wanted to order a larger design from the manufacturer. Returning this through Amazon and paying UPS isn't worth it.
