Exactly what I needed. Works well and easy to use. Only complaint is the wires on the inside of jacket are a little cheap and fall apart when making connections.

Good quality. Wires are noticeably better than the wires from the new radio I also bought. Thicker gauge, and copper vs. tinned.Perfect fit on my 2003 Subaru. I think though, that Subaru changed around 2008, so 1997-up may not be accurate.This is a 14-pin connector, 2x8 with two locations not used.Very clear and accurate listing of all the positions / colors / functions of each wire, right on the back of the package.

Have used this adapter in multiple GC Imprezas now with no issues. The Scosche wire gauge and quality is adequate. Having each wire's function printed on the insulation is nice and avoids annoying flag labels on the wires. Don't think I've ever paid more than $10. Quality and affordable. Buy with confidence.I recommend installing using heat shrink butt connectors with ratcheting crimpers. You can get them as a combo for a pretty affordable price. This worked well for my 2006 Subaru Forester with the premium audio package. Solid construction with each wire labeled in addition to a reference chart on the packaging for each wire.
