Flag Zone Residential Solar Flagpole Light

I purchased this item after reviewing many others online. The overall quality appears to be good. The problem that I had was in attaching the solar panel to the light assembly. Instructions say to snap the panel on using force. Well, I asked three people to do this before I found someone with enough strength to attach the panel. Seems if a slightly larger box was used this action could be performed at the factory. Also, it is wrongly assumed that everyone is the owner of a "smartphone" or similar device because the instructions for changing the batteries is only available by scanning a special code square on the instruction sheet. Finally, the shipping and handling on this item is extremely high given the size and weight of the product. I have had much heavier and larger items delivered for less than $16 plus.

The product arrived promptly. I installed it as instructed, but the light did not work as I hoped. It worked better in my closed garage than it did attached to my flag pole. I have no problem with the seller, I was just disappointed with the light.

Will not work. Waste of money

This was a ONE star until...the manufacture sent me a new battery. It DID NOT work out of the box.Most if not all that were shipped had BAD batteries but the manufacture (without me asking) sent me a battery pack and instructions on how to change the battery. Now my flag has a light on it (for 2 to 4 hours a day)I am going to buy one for my neighbor! Buy one and put a light on your flag, the way it is suppose to be!

I have had the light installed for about 2 weeks and it took a few days to get the battery charged. However in Minnesota we didn't have any sunshine to charge the battery. The light is much brighter than my old solar light and it lights up my flag beautifully.

I should have paid more attention to the reviews; this is a $30 piece of junk! When it came, the solar panel wouldn't stay attached to the ball and the battery wouldn't recharge even with a full days sun! The light came on for about 1 minute, and when it did, it wouldn't light an area the size of a piece of paper! Total JUNK!!!! Too bad I got it for a birthday present, and was embarrassed when I was told it didn't work :-( Of course I waited too long and could not return for a full refund. I would give this a -10 stars if I could.

After a couple of years in the sun and weather, the solar panel on my first one got too weathered to work, but I think that is to be expected. I bought the same light again, and I'm back in business for a very affordable price.
