Brilliant Bedtime
Pros: Cheap on the electricity bill. Well constructed. Big enough for a large cat.Cons: Initial expense quite high. Cushion padding a bit sparse. Heat pad very small within the bed resulting in uneven heat distribution.I bought this for my elderly black cat, whose arthritis was making him uncomfortable. It has promptly become the most coveted bed in the entire 4 cat household. Jenson guards it fiercely and sleeps in it all the time.Well made and constructed, it's big enough for a large cat (jenson's 7kg) The firm walls provide support but are not so high that they impede a geriatric cat in his movement. The heating pad is small and doesn't cover the entire cushion portion of the bed, but it does provide a steady, sensible level of warmth for a good price on the electirc bill.My on criticism (other than the slightly painful price...) is that the padding of the cushion is a bit sparse, the better to let the heat through, and it tends to clump and bunch. I've resolved this myself by putting a folded towel underneath the bed to provide a bit more padding without getting in the way of the heat pad.

My cats love it
As described. Not as warm as I expected but my cats love it - one has arthritis. It is like sitting on a lap I suppose. At only 4 Watts it should be cheap to run.

The heating element is quite weak.
It's a great bed. It does not provide much warmth.

It worked but cat refused to use it...
Well my cat refused to use this. I tried everything, putting her own blanket in it, sprinkling cat nip etc. I gave it a few weeks and she still refuses to use it. I couldn't be bothered to send it back so in the end I took the heating pad out and placed it in another cat bed and covered with a blanket. She was so happy. Perhaps it's the velour fabric of the K&H bed that she dislikes so much, her claw kept getting stuck in it? So I would give full marks for the heat pad. But the bed part is just really cheap foam covered in velour.

Too expensive to run for what it is
I'm sure this does heat up, but I couldn't get it to be warm to the touch, and left on all the time the power use adds up. My smart meter was going to murder me.Kitty now has a hot water bottle (Vagabond make, which I recommend and which is far cheaper than this bed). It costs less than a penny a day to fill at 5am, is completely safe under a folded blanket on the bed with excess air correctly excluded (fold the top of the bottle over carefully, so you see water in the opening as you seal it - it shouldn't inflate itself like a balloon when it's sealed). It's still warming the bed at night when I turn in, she simply adores it, and it can go into a bed if I have guests or South Wales turns into the Antarctic. Sometimes the old ways are the best.

Excellent - cats love it.
Cats queue up to get in it ! Once in they are very reluctant to give up their turn. Maybe i need two more !

My cat ❤️ it
Was a little reticent to purchase as I wasn’t sure whether my cat would use it. She loves it and rarely gets out of it!

Finally a bed the cat approves!!
I've bought many cat beds over the years and my cat has not shown any interest in them other than the box that they were packaged in.This However got the old ladies approval straight away. I don't know if it was the heated mat inside it or the shape. Who knows. But seeing as she's the fussiest cat ever I think the bed definitely earns a 5 star approval.
