This IS Not a Miracle Cure, But Does at least Help Mouse out.
Got the RR a little while back to try. I have a Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix Who deals with Separation Anxiety and Fear Anxiety. Mouse is Not aggressive nor is she destructive. I can leave the her lose in the house when I leave, can leave her in the car, although she does whine/cry when I 1st get out of the car, but does settle down after a little while. (I Do take the Other dog w/us,though) Mouse is anxious on walks, And WILL NOT go with anyone else But ME. Is fearful of Fireworks, gunshots, Nail guns, Thunder, random noises ect, ect, ect.. She fearful of Strange dogs, but does charge the fence when inside HER own yard. However, IF they show "no Fear" she gets really anxious and confused.. She is Fearful of people and Kids, other then immediate Family. IS Anxious on Weds cause ITS Trash Day. Hates going into Pet Stores, local Farm Store and the Vet. Does Not like it, if she "loses" me When we are outside..or even in the house.. or if I leave the yard w/o her. Although she does eventually, Mouse Does not like to go outside w/o me..even to go pee.. unless my 19yr old daughter IS going out.. But Miss Mouse generally will come and SEE if I am going out too.. Mouse WILL Pee on my side of the Bed, as well, IF she feels another dog is getting to 'close' to me and she might be pushed aside. Mouse is also a pacer, which can make it Hard to tell when she wants somethings Or when is her Anxeity.. She is never really relaxed even when sleeping as her Skin will twitch if you touch her, and you can feel the tension in her back. My Vet had recommenced this as I was trying to avoid Medications and she has seen this do wonders on another dog w/Sever Fear Anxiety w/Aggression. She Said, Completely Changed that dog's Fear Aggression and made it into a "Normal Dog". While this did not turn out to be the "Miracle Cure" I was hoping for, IT did help Mouse out.. It took the edge off, and made her a little more calmer then with the other stuff I was using (Pet Calm by Richard's Organics). Mouse was even less barky, didnt pace nearly as much, and you could touch her w/o her skin twitching most of the time. She WAS still Anxious, but defiantly calmer.. Even with the Lab Pup we have, as Mouse Fears the Pup will come between Me and Her.. RR is also a lot easier to get Mouse to Take. She HATES!!! the Chewable stuff.. and was not overly fond of taste of the Pet Calm, but did allow me to give it to her directly in the mouth. With the RR I give 5-6 drops, 3 times a day, on an egg or in her food, and she takes it, with No problem. (Four drops, as recommenced didnt seem to help much) I think it took a little time to get the RR in her system and really work, (+ i increased a little) as I didnt really "see" a huge differences UNTIL I ran out.. Thats Why RR is Getting 5 stars and not anything less. Again IT'S Not a Miracle Cure, but at least, it Help Miss Mouse Out and it has, so far, Help out the best, out of the every Natural pet anxiety product I have used w/her. Over the past 4-5yrs, (Mouse is almost 6) I also use Toy Distractions and Massage Therapy on her as well.. Which has also Helped Mouse out a lot in getting through things. And Miss Mouse will generally come too me and/or bring me her Frisbee/toy when something is spiking her anxiety.. FYI & BTW: Just remember, EVERYONE Is different, and NOT EVERYTHING works For EVERYBODY. Sometimes We NEED something different then what the Other person is using. The same goes for animals as well. Game-changer for Long Distance Travel with Anxious Dogs!
I was nervous about our 4-day cross-country move with our two Aussiedoodles who typically hate car rides. After researching natural calming solutions, we tried Rescue Remedy and were amazed by the results! Our dogs remained relaxed throughout the journey and even slept well during our overnight stops. Unlike sedatives, this natural solution kept them calm without making them groggy. The difference in their behavior was remarkable - they were noticeably more at ease but still their usual selves. While we don't use it for quick trips around town, I now give them Rescue Remedy before grooming appointments too. Pros: Natural calming effect Dogs stay alert but relaxed Perfect for long trips Also works great for grooming visits If you have anxious dogs and need something gentle yet effective for stressful situations, I highly recommend giving Rescue Remedy a try!

Valued member of the team
We have three rescue dogs with varying degrees of anxiety, and decided to give this a try. The dogs in question are Lia (Border Collie-ish, 40lb), Charlie (Australian Cattle Dog/Heeler-ish, 38lb), and Ollie (Harrier/Beagle-ish, 40lb). We only have broken toys in our house. Lia is a generally high-anxiety dog, so storms don't really up the ante all that much. Pacing, panting, and concerned puppy face are about as bad as it gets for MOST thunderstorms, but she hates lightning, too (in addition to camera flash and flashlights). Charlie is a little weirdo, but bless his little heart, he has to bark back at anything that scares him, including thunder. Oliver absolutely loses his last marble when it thunders and goes on destructive rampages, complete with panting, slobbering, climbing, pulling down curtains, and generally coming in like a wrecking ball (except not naked like Miley, as he always wears his tricolor tuxedo of fur). Lia and Charlie have also recently experienced an international move, and the anxiety has ratcheted up a notch or two. The directions say four drops, but implies things are kind of loosey-goosey in that department, so I played around until I had a good idea of what four drops looked like in terms of loading the dropper. They're not going to sit still for drop, drop, drop, drop, so they just get SQUIRT and done. Last night we had a VIOLENT storm, as in we took them out for a piddle trying to get it done before the rain, and there was a massive crash and my husband and I both made a fairly embarrassing sprint for the door - legit thought there could be something falling, and we could literally taste the ozone. And so it began. Lia and Charlie have an anxiety wrap and thundershirt, respectively. Ollie's little belly outgrew his thundershirt so he's on his own these days - not that we saw a huge difference with the wrap for him, but then again, he's so wild when frightened it's hard to tell. We can't use calming treats because once Ollie gets even a little wound up, he won't take food of any kind, and Charlie won't take treats that are anything other than TREATS. He always knows. The squirt method is far easier than shoving solid food or pills down their little throats, and it's faster and easier than coaxing Lia, too. It also works faster, which is a massive plus because I'm not always on top of the forecast. They probably all get more than four drops, but not too much more, and it seems to help. With the jackets and the drops, Lia and Charlie are still anxious, but less so, and will eventually settle down to sleep, within reason. Massive thunderclaps are still an issue, and Charlie will still growl at the thunder, but reserves the barking for the truly loud events. Ollie is still a wild dog, but he's much more controllable. He has to literally be held still and restrained until he gets himself under control, and it's easier and faster with the rescue drops. Once he breaks out of the crazy-fear cycle, aided by the drops, he's able to relax and behave much better, sometimes even falling asleep before the storm is over. It's important to note that these will work best in context with appropriate behavior modification to reduce fear and anxiety. Web resources vary widely in their effectiveness and scientific basis, so it might be best to get recommendations from your veterinarian or veterinary behaviorist to have a good place to start.

Works very well
A friend told me about this stuff, so I tried it and it works! My puppy is wicked anxious and this helps to keep him calm while I’m gone and in stressful situations. He doesn’t seem to mind the taste. There have been no adverse effects for my dog.

I’ve used Rescue Remedy many times for my 13 year old Siamese cat. It works remarkably well. Kept her calm on a flight from SLC, Ut to Ok. Would recommend if you have anxious fur baby.

Whenever our dog shows us that a thunderstorm is coming, we give her a syringe of this stuff and it seems to calm her. She also takes herself downstairs to the basement.

I admit I had my doubts at first but it seems to work. I have an 8 - 9 year old budgie that had become very nervous did not want to come out to fly and sadly upsetting to us both had to be removed from its cage for cleaning which would send the poor soul into that horrible panic state switching from a calm submissive state to a screeching wreck crashing into things, I think this was brought on in recent years from weakening due to moulting despite suitable tonics and foods to support these periods. I had of course considered a vet who deals with our feathered pets but the thought of transporting to this place plus other stresses involved made me very wary, the thought of it passing away due to my action to help it was hard to balance in my mind when most of the time he was a happy looking soul. So I thought give this a try at least it might calm it down to get it to a vet, went in with 3 drops to the water then 4 next day with 5 on the final day, "cage clean out day I thought" well what a difference very upfront and out of his cage without much trouble. Back to his more curious less recent cowardly self, even to peck my hand when I put an item in the cage, in a get out kind of way. Lowered the drops one at a time each day after that to see if any bad reactions took place, settled to a routine of one drop in rotation with a vitamin tonic and just water, seems to be working OK. A good outcome all round and for me well worth it

I can’t even begin to describe how much I love this medicine that I’ve bought for my cats. My cats are naturally stressed out a lot of the time is especially when I vacuum or have people over so this has really helped them calm down with honestly no side effects. They haven’t been throwing up today haven’t become wild or anxious. They just became 10 times calmer to the point where they look bored enough to sleep after having the medicine and that sometimes they actually did sleep but I don’t know if it’s because of the medicine or because they’re just cats. Point being this medicine does definitely help relax them a bit more.
