Works. Good replacement charger.
I'm happy with the charger. I preferred to go with a genuine Dell one which is UL listed for safety etc. My original charger started giving me problems and this one is a great substitute.

I purchased this power adapter to replace a questionable adapter which was causing “unknown power supply” BIOS warnings on a Dell Latitude 5558. As far as I can tell, this is a genuine part and it cured the BIOS warnings. Nice.

Buy this one!
I had purchased a 45 watt charger / power cord for my dell because my puppy dog had chewed up the charger that came with my laptop. The 45 watt charger worked once and awhile but seemed to cause the computer to have massive slowdowns and for the screen to flash randomly. I talked to another dell owner who had a similar problem and they recommended trying a 65 watt charger. After buying this 65 watt charger I have had no such problems and my laptop is a joy to use again!

Genuine Dell Cord.
Our Corgi-butt Bolt chewed our original cord. I went to Best Buy to buy a generic brand and it didn't work. Dell laptop kept prompting error messages. I was relieved to find one on Amazon and it actually worked. Thank you! You saved the day!!

Not sure if it is actually made by Dell
Never worked for me, my laptop won’t recognize it. The green light on the charger does come on, but will not charge my laptop. I bought a little less then 2 months ago, but didn’t return immediately because I thought it may be a laptop issue. I know now it’s not, Amazon won’t let me return.
