Missed it by that much!
This iHaper Smart Desk Lamp is really good. It's very well designed and has a lot of really unique features. The lamp has a motion sensor built into it. When you approach the lamp, and it's off, the lamp will turn on. If you move out of range of the motion sensor for more than 5 minutes, the lamp will dim. If you are not back within 30 minutes, the lamp will turn off. if you are back within 30 minutes, the lamp will turn back on to it's original brightness setting. Even though this lamp supports Apple Homekit, it does all of this without the user having to create any automations in Homekit. Further, the motion sensor in the lamp is exposed to Homekit, which is really to have. Therefore, you can incorporate this motion sensor into Homekit automations. The timeouts listed about are not configurable by the user. iHaper should really make these timeouts user configurable. Also, since the motion sensor is exposed in Homekit, the motion sensor timeout should also be exposed. The lamp comes with a USB cord that you need to plug into a 5V 2A USB plug. Also, you can remove the smaller branch from the lamp and use it as a flash light, which is a very nice feature. The thing that's missing in the lamp is a light sensor. When viewing the YouTube videos, on this product, I assumed there was a light sensor, since there was a motion sensor included with the lamp. Without a light sensor, the lamp comes on when you are close to it, even when there is enough light in the room, which is really annoying. I'm not sure why iHaper neglected to place a light sensor in the lamp along with the motion sensor as that would have made the lamp more useful. Also, if the lamp had a light sensor, that was exposed to Homekit, that would have been the icing on the cake. Having the light turn on, even though there is enough light in the room is not good. To make the lamp work as I think it should, I'd have to buy a Homekit light sensor and create automations to turn the light on and off, based on the amount of available light in the room. Which would defeat the pupose of having the built in smart features inthe lamp do it by itself. So, even though I really like the lamp, I'm on the fence whether I'll keep it or not because a light sensor is not included. But with that said, I'm still giving it 4 stars because of the unique features it has.

If there was an alternative with the same form factor, I'd be returning this item
The quality of this lamp is just above the "acceptable" mark. Does NOT work with 5G router, which makes it useless for HomeKit. And the charging cable does not fit through the hole it is supposed to go through (???) The detachable flashlight is so dim - I see no use for it whatsoever. Also, I am wary of products with spelling errors in the user manual, hence no trust the iHaper app, which requires personal information to perform an update... uhmm, NO! "Smart" this lamp is definitely NOT.Though the outside packaging tries to look like an Apple product, the product itself isn't up to par. Far from it. I bought this lamp for its form factor at a discount, so as that it is just acceptable enough to keep. However, some serious flaws (mainly, serious lack of attention to details) is why I am giving it only two stars... and even that somehow feels too generous. I see my two stars as three stars of disappointment, versus two stars of satisfaction. I suppose, it is an LED lamp that works with the specific form factor I wanted, so in that it succeeds. I hope it doesn't break for a good amount of time, at least... but I would be lying if I said this product inspires confidence in the manufacturer.

Coolest Homekit Desk Lamp
If you are a Homekit user and looking to get a smart desk lamp then this is the one to get. Build quality is excellent. The best thing about this lamp is that one of the branch can be taken out and use it as a portable flashlight. It charges through USB C which is awesome. You dont have to connect to Homekit to use this lamp. It has built in sliders which can be used to increase or decrease the brightness of the lamp. It has also built in motion sensor. But to be honest i am not a big fan of this feature. Lamp can detect movement and can turn on the lamp which is super cool but its so annoying during day time. Anytime you walk pass the lamp the light turns on. I wish it was time based. The cool part is that the motion sensor can be used to automate other products in HomeKit app. Overall i am super happy to have this product.

Annoying Update notifications
HomeKit connection works but it is now constantly prompting for an available Firmware Update but the iHaper app doesn’t show any available update. This is extremely annoying and seems to be caused by issues on the app development side. The iHaper app also fails to connect to any Alexa / Google Home service.

Update either app or desk lamp firmware
iHaper lamp shows very good quality build. Homekit support is a huge plus. I only wish that lamp update notification is not present. That is only thing that bothers me.

Great light... homekit compatibility a huge plus
I gifted this to my boy and he loved the style and that we're finally including his room in our HomeKit setup.

Love! HomeKit device with built in Motion Sensor
I was drawn to this because of the ability for this to be connected to HomeKit. It’s a pretty standard desk lamp on the surface. Love the ability that is battery charged. It will maintain a charge for 4-6 hours in the event of a power outage. The built in motion sensor is nice. I have connected the motion sensor to other HomeKit lights via the home app. When I walk in my office now my light automatically turn on. The flashlight component is a nice addition too. Exceeded my expectations.

A GREAT QUALITY PRODUCT THAT U DON’T WANT TO MISSED.
I like it, great quality & looks expensive. We used it in our Master Bedroom Computer table, Looks good in there. Nice packaging, I feel like I bought an IPAD apple product when I open it. Well recommended.
