Active Parenting of Teens

Purchased this book as NEW. However it arrived torn and tattered and written in. Have not read it so I can’t comment on the content.

A counselor recommended this to me, days good for anyone with children ages 8+ because by that age kids are exhibiting some of the pre-teen behaviors that this book addresses and will be a valuable resource for the years ahead. Much more clear, no-nonsense guidance than 1-2-3 Magic, similar to Love and Logic and No-Drama Discipline but a bit streamlined and simpler to immediately apply and easily start using.

One of the best series on teen development and parenting. I taught this series for years to parents and always got rave reviews because the information works. Can not seem to find the video DVD’s that were the cornerstone of his parenting program.

It was very insightful. Let's you know what teens are thinking.

A very informative book

I purchased this book to go along with a Parenting Class at a local center. There is a lot of good information and advice. Parenting teens is a lot different in this world that it was in the past. I like the thought of being proactive instead of reactive.

Can't get this book too soon. A lot of tequniques can be used early on. I have a child diagnosed oppositional defiant and this book has been very helpful in being able to take a step back and help to know how to handle things and other things to let her figure out.

Good book. Helped me understand a little more what I needed to do different with my teenager.

Excellent book, full of good advice.
