As someone who was wanting to explore the art of tarot, these were a perfect deck. They are easy to use and feel good in your hands. I guess you could say they may feel a bit on the cheaper side, but for the price I was okay with that! They capture light so beautifully. In the photo, I had placed them right by my window so you could see how great they look. If you want to get spiritual, I think them capturing the light makes the energy feel that much stronger. They are perfect for first timers or someone who wants to add a little brightness to their card collection. Love them! Don’t let the reviews sway you too much in making a decision. The cards should attract you and feel right to you and you only.

I love these cards! They are of beautiful color and shimmery too! They are not as large as other sets I have purchased. This makes them easier to shuffle and handle over all. This set is a great value and I am very happy with my purchase!

The info sheet is very succinct and written in a very traditional style like a very classical cribbage info sheet with older language (which I enjoyed). The holographic pictures are fun, but may detract from their intended classical interpretations. This would only be for beginners who just want to learn the very bare bones of each card and study meanings, and maybe try a few divinations before quickly graduating to a better main use deck as it seems like the edges of the cards may be somewhat more prone than most to fraying. I feel like they are about as readable as the traditional rider-waite, if not slightly less readable because of less distinction of each color. It would make a great gift for someone who already has a main deck that has an affinity for holographic imagery. Lastly, the cards are taller and less wide than most which may mean they are an ideal shape for someone, but I find it somewhat clunky to handle personally. In general, no regrets on this purchase, but maybe not ideal for every audience.

The design is original but the uniqueness about the holographic spin on it is beautiful. Breathtaking. If you want something good to look at and good with reading, I can recommend this deck along with others over course. But overall, a great deck should definitely check it out. I recommend buying storage for it separate and to have a tarot book on deck (no matter what you should have your own rider Waite tarot book just cause) because the book is exactly a book but a pamphlet.

I received my Holographic Rider Waite Smith deck last week or so. All of the cards were in good condition. The card stock was a good quality and the cards themselves were in English. My main complaint is that the borders are a bit large making the images on the cards a bit small and difficult to see. I got my deck for around $10. If you can get this deck on sale it's a good deal. At full price ($16+ at the time of review) I'm not so sure. I think I'd be more disappointed if I'd spent more. Going off of the product I received, it's not a bad product but considering ordering this deck does seem to be a bit of a gamble in terms of the final product you'll receive your mileage and satisfaction may vary. I really wish the images on the cards were a little more visible. The large borders might make this difficult to use for beginners trying to learn tarot. But all-in-all, better quality product than I expected to receive based on other reviews and I am satisfied with the purchase.

The cards are pretty. The metallic finish is nice. The cards are small like a standard deck of playing cards which for female hands makes them easy to shuffle. They are the same thickness as a standard deck of playing card so the edges are likely to wear quickly. For beginners you will need a separate tarot card interpretation guide. There is a little leaflet included but it is sparse for info. If you are already familiar with clearing the cards, storing, spreads, meanings etc then no worries

As a regular Tarot reader, these were quite disappointing. The backs of the cards are flat/matte, while the fronts/faces are colorful and glossy. The design on the backs is very unappealing and "blah," being mostly flat, boring brown shades. The edges are too thick and crumbly & frail; they feel very much like thin cardboard. The faces and images are decent and bright, and the words and booklet are English. They remind me of the cheap mini-card decks you could buy in the 70's for under a dollar. Or the types of cards/pawns that came with old board games, that you had to "punch" out from a sheet in order to use. They should cost a lot less, in my opinion. LOL

Great and beautiful cards. Fabulous for readers with smaller hands. They are easy to shuffle and hold comfortably, more so than the traditional card size. Love to do readings with them.
