excellent product! Battery charges up really fast in between use. Very satisfied. I am commenting on the other weedwacker that i returned. I sent it back yesterday via the post office, as instructed. The tracking number is: 9338 5109 8180 0000 0862 32. 2/28/25. Thank you for your super fast response, in sending a new weedwacker!!! By the way, post office said it will 3 to 4 weeks for you to receive returned weedwacker. Because we live in Hawaii, it will be sent by ship.

This Earthwise trimmer is fantastic! It is incredibly light ( light enough to trim using just one hand if you need to) It has easily cut through various weeds in my yard that had been ignored for way too long. It's super quick and thorough without being overly loud. Incredibly well built and you can'tbeat the price. Earthwise's reputation did not disappoint when I contacted them with an issue ( battery after 2 plus years) They responded immediately. I definitely will continue to purchase Earthwise products & highly recommend this great lightweight trimmer!

I purchased the cordless string trimmer/weed eater recently since i wanted something to combat all the growing weeds around my patio and another area that the lawn mower can't reach. The first time around, I charged the battery up to full capacity and once that was done, attached it to the weed eater and fired it up and was on my way. It's super easy to use and light weight. I'm 5'4 around 130 and didn't have any issues other than my lower back ended up hurting later, from having to bend over some (tried to adjust it but didn't really seem to get that much longer). It is pretty powerful but not for really thick and/or tall grasses/weeds but for what I needed, it's fine. The battery lasted around30- 45 minutes I think, so had plenty of time to get everything done. I like the metal guide protector that you can move up and down. I also like that it auto adjusts the line as needed. The second time I tried using this, I didn't charge the battery from the first time and "thought" i had 50% battery left since there were two green lights on, but I must have misunderstood the instruction manual because I was able to use it for about 5 minutes at full strength and then it kept sputtering/stalling (not sure how else to describe it). I would push the unlock button and then press the lever to run it and it would run for a minute and then stop and I kept having to do this over and over. I hope it's just that I need to fully charge the battery again and not a problem with the machine itself. I've got the battery on the charger now, so we'll see how it goes. Outside of that, I can't complain though. Was a work horse the first time around and hopefully once the battery is charged up, it will be back to full strength again.

I hate the issue with small gas engines. Yes, they are faster and more powerful but the con out weight the benefits to me. I have about 5000 sq feet yard perimeter and driveway. It's light weight so the slight slower speed is acceptable. I see my neighbor having to stop because of gas engine issues. He gets quite annoyed,. Battery either works or don't work. If battery, I swap a new one. If its broken, I buy a new one for a faction of a gas. You might not want to do trimmer when it is raining. Water will break it, and it is not waterproof. My lawns stay trims, so I am not dealing with a jungle. I don't need the power of gas.

My yard is very small and very easy with short grass and this trimmer worked great 3 times, then started smoking in the motor part and then just quit. Was very happy at first, until it quit. The battery life was great and it ran well until it smoked and quit. Nothing was stuck in it and it did not get jammed or anything, so I am guessing it was defective. Sending it back for a return and getting a different brand. Purchased the battery powered reel lawnmower, same brand, and so far it is still working good. Batteries were not interchangeable, which I didn't like, but hope the lawnmower holds up better than weed-eater.

This trimmer is super light, fairly powerful, and I can trim my whole yard on a single charge. The length adjustments are great so it's very comfortable to hold and use. Being able to rotate the bottom half of the shaft to edge is super awesome. It holds a fair bit of line and loading it is pretty simple. If I had to complain about something, it would be that there is no "bump release" to let more line out. You have to flip the trimmer upside down, hold the line, and press a little button to release more line. This is a great product for someone with light trimming to do. I'm thinking ladies, older folks, and bigger kids learning to trim. I also have the leaf blower from this company and I love it as well.

I have a very small yard, to the point i could realistically use this trimmer on the whole yard if i wanted to instead of the mower. Unfortunately this thing is weak to the point that when edging, it will fail to cut some of the thicker grass roots growing onto the sidewalk/driveway. I was not expecting much for the price, but it is honestly laughable how weak it is.Battery life is fine. I can usually edge/trim my yard twice on one charge.The mechanism to go from trimming to edging feels backwards but that is just a design choice and doesn't effect performance.

We love this weed eater/edger! It’s so versatile - it’s fully adjustable for the user, we can turn the head around and use it as an edger, it’s lightweight, super easy to use, has plenty of power, and the battery lasts plenty long enough to do the front and back lawns! Excellent product - love it!
