Good Rack
Good roof rack system, works exactly as desired and was purchased at a good price! The whole system comes together well, directions are strait forward and easy to follow. Once its all put together it looks good (Not even bothering to take it off the car (2011 Kia Sorento) when not in use, just leave it on there). Easily adjustable, and works great for the big 80lb 15ft+ kayak I got it for.My setup:Thule LB58 Roof Rack Load BarsThule 450 CrossRoad Railing Roof Rack Foot PackThule EC1 Load Bar End CapsThule 883 Glide and set Kayak mount.Couldnt be happier with the setup, although am considering getting the wind shield to put on the front (The square bars do make a little bit of whistling, but I accepted this when ordering the square vs the oval ones)

The combination with the Rigger and a home made roller is worth it
I bought this as an upgrade since we bought the Toyota Sequoia which is wider than my older Mercedes GL. I also ordered the Thule Outrigger which works nicely with the cross bar to load and unload our SUPs easier. The combination works very well. I offer a suggestion I did which also worked well with me. If you want kayaks or boards to roll easily over the cross bars and without scratching try this: Go to Home Depot and buy two 30-40" long (depending on the width of the car top) of 1.5" diameter PVC pipes and two-2" pipes of the same length. The 1.5" will fit inside the 2" pipe nicely and the cross bar will fit into the combination (through the 1.5" of course) very well. This will give you a very nice set of rollers for the two cross bars and if you buy the black color of pipes they will look very professional at a cost of less than $15. I tried so many commercial covers and rollers and nothing worked better than this home made one.

Works great for hauling multiple canoe/kayaks
Solid square load bar for kayak/canoes. It fits my 9.5 ft kayak along with my 14 canoe old town next to each other with additional space left over. It would not fit 2 kayaks and canoes flat. It does not stick out any further than mid part of side mirrors on my yukon. It is compatible with the load bar from thull. Only complaints that I noticed is that the coating is not very durable as I have a huge gash across one of the bars (not sure if from the rounded part of canoe bolt end or from combo of heat/pressure); also the rack will make a whirling noise when traveling on highways (55mph and up) which is very noticeable unless radio is on; I remove the racks during off seasons so it does not bother me at all but I can see when you may consider their additional part that blocks the wind for it from thull. I know some mentioned end caps may fall out but I have not had that issue although I put silicone (same stuff for plumbing or pool o rings) around the inside part to keep out moisture which may have helped that issue.

Solid and reliable for years of contrator use.
Used to haul ladders for 2 summers all over Portland. Affordable used option that kept working until I totaled my car.

Thule
Just good brand and product everything was there. Wasn't damaged at all or at least not enough for me to care or nothing that wouldn't rub out/off

End caps not included (they come with the footpack)
To everyone complaining about the end caps not being included, a set of four of them come with what ever footpack you purchase. In my case it was the 480 traverse footpack. What you do with a set of load bars if didn't buy a set of foot packs is beyond me.These are solid and covered in a plastic/rubberized finish. I just installed them so I'm not sure how long they will last but I will provide an update later.

Great System
I bought the roof rack system and it has worked flawlessly every time. I have this on a 2012 Fusion, with a hard carrier mounted on top. Once you learn how to install them, they greatly increase the capacity of your car. I've used them for about 10K miles worth of travel and they're worth every penny. I dropped about 6 MPG with my carrier on top, but had a roomier car in which to travel. If you want increase the functionality of your car, then get'em.

Legit Thule bars bad quality control .?
Update Amazon has sent me replacements the box they came in was a little scary I was sure they would also be defected managed to get decent looking bars just a few marks from the cardboard box possibly !I’m generally someone to over look smaller imperfections but the black rubber coating already bubbled up/scuffed/cut as some reviews mention yeah they might get like that over time with use anyways but when paying $100 bucks for something in New condition that’s kind of hard to just overlook it should not be arriving like that if it gets like that from use that is completely different that is normal I circled the worse one in red but the yellow ones are also very well present it’s on the same bar 1 was actually ok , yes they don’t come with endcaps it is what it is on that I was aware. I’m more upset on the condition of the bars itself maybe they get damaged during shipping ? Not. Sure I got a box no protection bubble wrap or nothing just the 2 bars side by side and in the box . I have pictured it and the end of the box with the Thule brand seal I didn’t even notice it came all beat up on those end I opened the opposite end that was all during shipping Even though it looks tampered with, I didn’t even realize this until I was taping it back up for Amazon return which I have requested a replacement hopefully those don’t come beat up aswell I suggested a more protected shipping if those come damaged will likely just request a refund and get the bars elsewhere ! Will update this review !
