Traxxas X-Maxx 1/6 RTR Electric Monster Truck w/VXL-8s, TSM, Orange, TRA77086-4

This is, by far, the most advanced and solid RC truck I have ever used. For its price, it should be. My son and I like to drive RC cars together and this will last (hopefully) decades with proper driving and care. But it is EXPENSIVE. Just buy the charging kit with it if you don’t have it. I suggest no younger than 8 if you kids are responsible users but it needs adult supervision given its potential speed and weight. Honestly it could seriously hurt someone if it hit them even at slower speeds due to its weight. It needs a huge area to bring up to speed as well. This isn’t a living room floor toy. If you’re a serious RC fan and decide to make an “investment” I think this is simply the best out there for its monster truck purposes.

I had purchased the orange one thinking it would be an awesome color, when I unboxed it I was disappointed in the color, maybe it's just me but the orange looks very cheap, reminds me of a junky harbor freight tool handle, I opted to keep the truck and order two other replacement body's. Rock&roll and solar flare for $99.00, both of them came with a roof skid plate, unlike the Orange one. I'm sure the red and green body may look better, but this is only my opinion. Also if you order directly from Traxxas, shipping is free. (Be careful if you buy it from Traxxas on Amazon) you'll pay $15.00 for shipping, ( sold and shipped by Traxxas) if you buy on Amazon look for the seller JEGS it's sold and shipped by them, and shipping is free, saves ya 15 bucks. I also recommend the Traxxas 6700 batteries with the dual charger, it's around $400.00 for all three but definitely worth it in the long run

This thing is insane, it seems to fly over the ground instead of drive but ouch, it is very pricey. I hope it lasts a long time at how much it costs! So far durability has been great -- I hit a rock at full speed and not even a scratch. The shocks are amazing, you can drop this from 4 feet up and it absorbs the shock like a sponge

The Traxxas X max is an incredible truck within capable abilities never thought possible on a normal RC car this is almost impossible to break and I highly recommend you get one

Best rc truck I have ever owned, but the body’s weak and cracks every where.

I like everything about it. The most powerful RC I’ve had. It’s heavy and it handles the curves and off terrain like a champ. The size of it dwarfs my Stampede 4x4. Love it. It is pricy but I think it’s worth it.

Iv had this truck for 3 months and it is the toughest rc I have ever had iv sent it 10 feet into the air landed all kinds of crazy hard ways and the truck hasn't broke anything xmaxx tough...........

I bought this for my son and it didn’t last 30 days before it broke. I sent it back within 30 days because I felt as it was defective. Well I was charged $150 restocking fee because I returned it. Took my money because of a crappy product. Definitely unfair to the customer. Buyer beware……… Of the Traxxas Store on Amazon because if you have to send it back within 30 days they will charge you a $150 restocking fee; therefore your refund will get deducted $150even though it is their defective product.

Was soll ich sagen, einfach ein Hammerteil. So viel Spaß hatte ich noch nie mit einem RC-Car. Und ich hatte schon diverse Modelle. Der X-Maxx ist definitv nix für Anfänger. Dazu ist er einfach zu brachial in der Leistung, auch im Trainingsmodus, der ersten von drei Fahrstufen. Wenn die knapp 10kg, die er inkl. Akkus wiegt, einmal in Bewegung sind, braucht es eine geübte Hand, diese zu kontrollieren. Ansonsten ist der Fahrspaß einfach unglaublich. Allein das Rollgeräusch der 20 cm großen Räder macht süchtig. Die Bauweise ist äußerst robust. Man kann also auch mit dem X-Maxx eine etwas härtere Gangart fahren. Er wird es verkraften. Die Fernbedienung ist umfangreich ausgestattet. Sie fühlt sich allerdings für ein Modell dieser Preisklasse nicht besonders wertig an. Ein Bluetooth-Modul für Telemetriedaten kann hier nachgerüstet werden (ca. 40 €). Warum das nicht ab Werk bereits verbaut ist, hat sicherlich für Traxxas lukrative Gründe. Die Akku-Anschlüsse sind Traxxas-typische Eigenentwicklung, sodass man nur die sehr teuren Traxxas-LiPos (ca. 160 € je Stk.) verbauen kann. Wer hier sparen will, muss Umlöten, was jedoch die Gewährleistung beeinträchtigt. Sehr positiv ist jdoch die Ersatzteilversorgung von Traxxas, falls doch mal etwas zu Bruch gehen sollte. Alles ist vollumfänglich und nicht zu teuer zu bekommen. Das ist vorbildlich. Auch umfangreiches Tuning ist hier jederzeit möglich. Fazit: Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist, meines Erachtens, recht angemessen. Wenn auch der X-Maxx nichts für den schmalen Geldbeutel ist, so bietet er doch enorm viel Spaß in jeglichem Terrain. Man wird es definitiv nicht bereuen.

Volevo complimentarmi con questo venditore, non appena arrivata la macchina mi sono accorto che il controller non funzionava. Contattandolo si è messo subito a disposizione per risolvere il problema e 10 giorni dopo avevo il controller nuovo a casa. Venditore serio e disponibile

So much fun, its a blast. It’s unlike other rc’s. Super wobbly, can’t turn at a sharp angle without nearly toppling over, so if you’re looking for precision, this is not for you, but if you’re looking for a good time, this is your truck. Worth every penny

Il y a longtemps que je voulais un X-Maxx et bien ça y est c'est fait... J'ai premièrement été très impressionné par le gabarit qui est très imposant ,niveau pilotage facile à utiliser et d'une puissance incroyable avec des batteries LiPo 4S 6700 mAh

Ein irres Teil. Riesig, schnell und durch nichts zu stoppen. Nachdem ich bei meiner ersten Ausfahrt mit dem Xmaxx permanent ein grinsen im Gesicht hatte, kann ich sagen: Alles richtig gemacht Traxxas! Der Dauertest wird zeigen ob di Qualität passt, aber der Ersteindruck ist Top.
