ApakowaKid's Boy's Girl's Soft Sole Close Toe Sport Beach Sandals (Toddler/Little Kid)

My son has been wearing these for a week straight, and we've been very happy with them! I wasn't sure on the sizing, so I ordered a half size bigger, because there's a rear adjustable strap to make them tighter. So glad I did! Now he can wear them even longer! There isn't a smell either, like you get with Keens. But then again, it's only been a week. I'll provide an update at the end of the summer. We'll see how they last!UPDATE: my son ended up wearing these all day every day until about October. And they are trashed! He is very hard on shoes, and I'm pleased that they lasted. They were never really stinky, so that's a big plus for me! I did have to sew on some new velcro and "shoe-goo" the toe area around September, just to make them last. I figured we got our money's worth!

My 1.5 year old just grew out of a size 5 shoe and is transitioning to a size 6. I ordered a size 6 and she has a little less than a 1/2 inch of toe room remaining with these sandals. I think that is great because she can grow into them. The inside of the sandals feels very soft to the touch, no hard plastics or materials to hurt the baby's foot. The inside of the sandal is cushioned, soft, and not slippery when feet are wet. Overall a great fitting, and comfortable sandal. I ordered the dark pink color and my toddler loved them! She put the sandals on immediately and played in them the entire afternoon after we received them. Seem to be of great quality. Definitely recommend.

The shoes themselves look like nice shoes but they are way too big. I ordered a size 5 for my son and they sent a size 22. From the different conversion charts I've seen, a 22 is more the equivalent of a US size 6, which explains why they are so large. I wish if they were sized by European standards they would just list the size options that way. I would have looked at conversion charts and ordered him a 20 or 21 instead. Now I'm not sure if this was a mistake or if I would once again receive a size 22 when ordering a US 5.

My 2.3 yr old is currently wearing "5" (whatever that means) so I ordered the 6 after reading the reviews. I couldn't measure his foot since I was at work while purchasing. His heal is right at the back of the sandal. Ugh! He's comfortable and loves his sandals but I wish I'd gotten the next size up. With that said, I sent him off to daycare this week worried they'd get ruined with all day & outdoor play and they're holding up than his sneakers have. They still look great, the rubber toe tip hasn't gotten torn up. I really like that the heal has velcro to be able to adjust with his growth. I just wish I had sized up more. :(

My 21months old son’s feet tend to turns inward so he tends to fall a lot. This shoes are amazing! He runs, jumps without without falling and they look good! They are easy to put on and take off and they are not heavy. The grip is also great. He has use them for hiking and they hold off great. Highly recommend.

** I am a real costumer and this a real customer review** We bought these and we didn’t expect much from them. They seem well made and are pretty close to true size. If your child is at 1/2 size go up. The soles are what my wife loves. They are have great traction and a good material that doesn’t wear out quick. The inside has a little bit of padding so the edge of outer straps doesn’t rub your feet cause blisters. There is also a little padding on insoles. Our son grew out of his and we didn’t hesitate to buy another pair. We wash them in washer and air dry them.. we did that 2x with the old pair and no issues with them falling apart. The outer rubber on toes is great protecting the Sandals from toe drags.

After fighting my son for the better part of ten minutes to get them on his feet, he loved them. I didn’t notice when I ordered them that they have Velcro on the top and the back, which is awesome. They’re nice and light but feel sturdy. The only thing I don’t like about them is that the soles are very grippy. Why is that bad? Because my son is entering the terrible twos and likes to kick and stomp all over me when he’s angry. Not the manufacturer’s fault, obviously, hence why I still gave five stars. 😋

These are well-made shoes, however they run narrow and have a slightly pointy toe. My son has wide and chubby feet so I don't blame the company for not being a good fit.I'd like to mention that Apakowa makes another very similar sandal with a similar name (Apakowa Kid's Boy's Summer Outdoor Athletic Double Strap Closed-Toe Beach Sandals Sport) that runs wide and ended up fitting my son's feet perfectly! I had to purchase this shoe as the usual one I buy (ahannie) didn’t have the size I needed.These are quite narrow and the “top to bottom” space is too small. I purchased one size up and my son isn’t even able to get his foot all the way into the shoe. Will be returning these.Similar to another reviewer, I found the toe to be pointy which adds extra unnecessary length to the shoe. I imagine this would take some time to get used to running in.

love them! so cute in person, and seem soft enough, and very easy to put on.we purchased size 9 for our boy, who wears 8,5, they, as expected, fit a bit big, but a strong enough that he can do all - run, climb, etc.definitely recommend.

These are very nice looking and padded inner bottom . Two Velcro straps for easy in and out for children. They are very firm and non slip bottoms. Good support and I think they should wear well. Fits true to size.

For narrow feet. My kids feet both had marks from them being too narrow. Do not recommend. Strong chemical smell, I had to air them outside for a day.

Purchased for my triplet grandsons. Shipping was longer than I had hoped, but when I ordered it did say how long it would take. I like that their little toes are protected while learning to walk. Very lightweight and they could walk easily in them.
