PlayMonster Aqua Diver - The Race-The-Clock Pool Game Orange

We followed the directions, and it still did not work. My grandson was very disappointed. My husbandtoo it apart and determined that a washer was missing, but we did not have a part that fit.

First the timer doesn’t work. The aqua DIVER... diver being the imperative word...isn’t weighted so...it floats on the surface and finally drops to the bottom. We used our timers on our watch that do work and it took 3 minutes to reach 6 feet. This toy is absolutely ridiculous. The concept is great but they needed to motorized And weight is it for the kids to capture it and note the time...or at a minimum weight the damn thing. I sending this piece of junk back. I never ever ever gives bad or nasty reviews but this company has no business selling junk like this. GET THE TIMER WORKING TOO....then at least 1 thing would be good about it

I got this but the kiddos not really interested.There hoping that it swims around.

Fun pool toy

With the timer this makes pool games a lot of fun. Kids can use it alone or in groups.

It is a cute toy. Timer starts when it hits the water as advertised BUT the toy needs to be taken OUT of the water AND hit the timer button for the timer to stop. Advertisement is misleading. *UPDATE timer button proved itself to be frustrating and unreliable. Kids kept pressing the button to either not have the timer stop or the timer would reset providing hours of frustration. It's cute but don't expect much from the timer function so its basically a cute dive stick.

this review is written by a 11 year old kid, who was ecstatic about playing with this toy.i saw this online and, despite the mixed reviews, asked my mom if i could order it, it came in 2 days and i raced out to the pool to play with it. i threw it in and dived after it, i came up with it and pressed the button, but it didn't work. i had to press it like ten times to make it stop, i tried a bunch more with the same result. such a shame since everything else works well. and a button! thats like the easiest part to make! and they messed up on that, so sad. i want to warn other kids who are super excited about this not to order, it will just disappoint you.

You have to have a very small screwdriver to remove the back off this thing. You remove it, take the batteries out and put back in. The numbers show up! It uses button watch type batteries. Not sure how long these will last. Put the back on securely and toss in the water. The water activates the timer! Swim to get it and push the button to record your time. We find it's better to try to beat your own time. Kids trying to beat each other caused arguments! But either way, they love it. It dives well! Younger ones used it in the shallow end and the older ones in the deep end. It's easy to see the bright orange color. They call it a squid. That's what it looks like. A really fun challenge for little ones who can swim.

Una gran idea, con una muy pobre ejecución.Resulta que si te dicen como funciona el juguete, te explican lo del cronómetro, que se activa al tocar el agua y que al presionar el botón detienes el reloj, suena increiblemente divertido.Hasta que quieres usarlo y te das cuenta que llegó con las pilas gastadas, estaría mucho tiempo en el almacén, bueno pues compramos pilas nuevas.Por fin lo puedes tirar a la alberca, resulta que lo hicieron con tanto plástico y tan poco peso que casi flota, se sumerge lentamente y como la idea es sacarlo lo antes posible, pues lo sacas a 10cm de la superficie, necesitas iniciar verdaderamente lejos del juguete para que llegue al fondo, lo que le tomara unos 20-30 segundos, cuando lo recuperas y presionas el botón otra sorpresa el botón es tan mal hecho que tienes que presionarlo varias veces para que funcione y detenga el tiempo, por ultimo tienes que ser muy rápido para sacarlo del agua ya que paraste el tiempo, porque comonesta dentro del agua se te reinicia y ya no te enteraste cuanto te tomo recuperarlo.Resumen: NO FUNCIONA BIEN, NO LO COMPRARÍA OTRA VEZ.
