Fallen Empires (Cleopatra in Space #5)

I started reading Cleo when she was a black and white web comic and have followed her through her graphic novel adventures. But as much as I loved those stories this one takes it to a whole other level. Cleo's power and leadership skills grow but so do the stakes. I found myself genuinely afraid for her and her friends. Also finally seeing Gozi's full origin story was heart wrenching and made him so much more complex as a character. Hats off to author Mike Maihack for crafting this beautiful world. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

My seven year old loves this series and was so excited to get the new book. It was supposed to be a gift from the Easter Bunny but sometimes you just want to get credit for the awesome gift! She squealed with delight and has read it several times. I always love how Mike draws the panels and has such a rich color palate. We've really gotten attached to all of the characters and can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

My grand daughters love this series. One is 10 and the other 14. They both enjoy them and they are just nice entertainment. They are very particular about books and these are very appropriate for these age groups.

Mike Maihack has delivered another excellent installment of his "Cleopatra in Space" series. It's a good read for young or old. If you are looking for something for your kids to read or something you can read to them and enjoy or something that's just fun to read, Cleopatra in Space is a great choice.

I absolutely love this series! My daughter and I are both enamored with Cleopatra and how fun this series is. I have loved it from the very beginning. It transcends all ages. Definitely a fun female protagonist series that the whole family can enjoy!! A must read.

I've been following this series for years - no spoilers but loved the additional worldbuilding and backstory this brought to the cannon! I'm probably older than the average reader but I love it. The drawings are stunningly detailed and Akila is my favorite character.

There is a lot of drama and it is very fun to read, and there is a lot of action (dictated by my 9 year old son).
