I guess the way I'm using it is not necessarily how it's presented. This is good if you're taking your shake on a run or hike. I use neither of the white pieces, as I'm not out and about when I drink it, except when I actually shake it. It's awkward. For me, the pieces are annoying, but the glass is quality, the size great, and it has measurements, so that's helpful.
