One of the best retail oils on the market?
Received the newer Dexos1 Gen 2 5w-30 product. This differs from the main ad picture which is void of the dexos 1 logo on the product label, thus the older product version. Have been running Pennzoil Ultra Platinum in '13 F-150 EB for the last 40k miles doing used oil analysis every time. Will run the Havoline ProDS and compare UOA results when the next change is needed against the previous Pennzoil. Havoline promotes its superior viscosity control. Blackstone has me at 11k intervals with the Pennzoil UP. Will be interesting to evaluate and compare the Havoline. Had really good results previously with Delo in a Chevrolet diesel. High hopes for the Havoline this go around.Update: 5/25/2021 -> After oil changes with ProDS in March '20 and November '20. Blackstone shows viscosity is equivalent to Pennzoil UP. Cooper and iron metals are down by nearly half. Will keep purchasing and using as long as price aligns with competitive among other top tier retail oils.

This synthetic is as good as it gets, so don’t pay more for some other brand
When it comes to 100% synthetic motor oil, they are all the same. So buy whichever one costs less.Furthermore, you shouldn’t ever buy a synthetic *blend*, because you have no idea what’s actually in it. You might assume a blend means half synthetic and half regular oil, but it doesn’t say that on the label. The word “blend” simply means two substances mixed together – but not how much there is of each. Why would anyone want an unknown oil in their engine? So either use 100% synthetic, like this excellent Havoline, or regular old motor oil. Keep in mind that every car built within the last 20 years or so should be using 100% synthetic.

It's motor oil from a reputable company
Every company has their claims as to why their oil is so much better than the competition. But let's face-it, if you know enough to be able to change your own oil, you're doing it at least (and probably more) often than recommended, so most any SAE-rated oil is fine.Having said that, I run synthetics in all my outdoor equipment (lawnmower, snow blower, etc.), and with rebates, this was the cheapest at the time of purchase

Havoline Pro DS 5w20
Great price , great oil, had a factory seal under the cap so it did'nt leak during shipment. 5qt. bottle had date on it , waspretty fresh and bottle looked new. I have used Havoline and Chevron Supreme in 5w20 and 10w30 conventional oil till a few years ago when I switched .Synthetic is almost at the same price point now as conventional oil . It's a no brainer.Havoline and Chevron make great motor oils .I use the recommended mfr. weight-grade and stay a little under the factory OCI. I have been using these brands for many years , they keep engines clean and happy.

It’s oil!
Oil IS oil. Good product. Although if you do buy to do your own oil change you only need to be sure of the viscosity (or more commonly known as weight). This is Chevron’s brand of engine lubricants and fluids. My reason for buying this in particular is their reputation for Techron. My idea is that if their gasoline is reputable, then their motor oil should be a equally premium product, albeit Havoline was once the Texaco brand.

Dexos-compliant Havoline oil
I’ve always used Havoline oil in my vehicles and was happy to find this Havoline oil that is Dexos compliant to meet the requirements for my Tahoe. It arrived packaged neatly and responsibly in a sealed plastic bag, and was a good price.

A better synthetic automotive lubricating oil with engine protection components.
Another quality product from Chevron USA. I use it in my 2003 GMC Sierra. It has engine protection additives that other synthetics do not have.I use regular Havoline lubricating oils in my fleet of classic cars that do not require synthetic lubricating oils. My GMC Sierra has 113,000 miles on it and runs as good as the day I bought it thanks to Havoline synthetic motor oil.

Quality Lube 0w-20
It’s SN, not the SN Plus. Quality 0w-20 for a DD. 7/9/18 manufacture dated stock. It’s not the most recent oil but not overly old either. Price was $4.xx/qt at the time
