I already have the Ippon series baitcasting rod, and wanted to give the spinning rod a try. I was not disappointed! I got a medium light for finesse fishing, and it is working great. Light enough for light plastics, but with enough spine to land the big ones.

Enigma fishing is a great company and the rods are built great the ippon rods are great rods very sensitive and light weight

I have used plenty of rods and by fat Enigma rods are my favorite. The Ippon series are super strong and sensitive. Wasnt sure about grips but now Its my number one. Soft comfortable all day. Thanks

I have bought a bunch of enigma products. This rod being one of them. It is not if but when in regards to the products sold by this company. Every reel and every rod has since broken. The rods are junk. They seem good hit they simply will not last. They will break on hook sets or if you get snagged. I easily spent over 700 with this company and it was a mistake. Take your business elsewhere. They sell junk that will break. And customer service…forget it.

I received my Enigma Ippon Series spinning rod and reel combo last week and used it for the first time weekend for a tournament. From the first cast I was impressed. Its a very light combo and the reel is extremely smooth. The price is right for a rod and reel of this quality, not to mention it is good looking cosmetically. Overall I'm very pleased and will be ordering more for sure. I would highly recommend Enigma Fishing.
