I am an Afro American with hair to the mid of my back/bra. I got them to use when i didn't feel like styling my hair. They are very cumbersome because they have to be positioned a partical way to make the donut. This doesn't just happen on its own. I had to retry and retry and retry to make a donut and I was literally TIRED and it was not nice. It is over rated and not a good bye. Plus all the colors in the pack didn't match my hair except for ONE black slap stick. If you try, you need to purchase one slap stick first because you will see that it is NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

They aren’t that tough to use once you figure out which way you are rolling your hair and then which way to “snap” the thing closed. Just like a snap bracelet. Your bun looks as neat as a ballerina and you can make it right like that or looser and more casual. Just play with it a bit. My hair is just past my shoulders and I’d say it prob could t be a lot shorter than that. Especially the sides or you’ll need to pin them back. I love these things!!
