This hose came in a reusable bag with a clear window on one side to see the contents. Included with the hose were 2 spare washers, an inline valve, and a multi-setting nozzle.To use the hose, you attach the inline valve to the business end of the hose and the other end to the spigot, close the inline valve and turn on the faucet. The hose will expand to its full length as it fills with water under pressure. Once expanded, you turn on the inline valve and the hose is ready to use. This technique can be used to set up a sprinkler as well, but when the inline valve is opened, water will immediately come out of the sprinkler so you may wish to point it away from yourself.It's important to note that at least 43.5 PSI is needed inside the hose to keep it expanded. If you don't use a nozzle and simply turn on the inline valve, pressure in the hose is released and the hose will shrink back to its original length. Also, when not in use, the hose is like a giant rubber band with large metal ends; misuse could result in significant injury.A hose like this holds a significant amount of water that wants to get out. To shrink it back down after use, you shut off the source and find a good place to drain the contents (I hold mine next to a tree) then open that inline valve (and the nozzle, if in use). After a few moments, the hose is small again and ready to store away.I like the hose for spraying things, but it is somewhat limited. For instance, it wouldn't work well for filling a pool or pond since it would be pretty short without pressure inside, and some omnidirectional sprinklers will get you wet when opening the inline valve, but for use with nozzles, or other flow restricting devices, it's great.

Even the presentation right out of the box is incredible - the garden hose and sprayer come in a nice little bag - not sure what I'm going to do with that bag now that the hose is connected...guess if you disconnect it for the winter or something, the bag is a great little storage unit. The hose is nice - 25 feet isn't very long, thing small yard, garden - I'll actually attach it to another hose so I can wash the car, too. The sprayer is nice - 8 different options and actually all are different enough that you could see the usefulness is using each one for a different purpose. Quality is top notch, function is excellent - this is a great garden hose - check it out. Oh, and you did notice that this is an "expandable" water hose - top length is 25 feet, but when you turn off the water and the hose contracts, it's about 5-10 feet at the most...makes it nice not to have some garden hose either lying across your yard or even rolled up in some massive container.

We've looked at many of these types of hoses at places like Home Depot, and we've owned one or two. They gave us problems, but this one seems to have all the right stuff. For example:1) it has a great selection of SIX nozzle settings, which include everything from "mist" to "jet".2) the solid brass fittings can be tightened which make for easy attachment that is leak free.3) it doesn't kink (others we've owned DO kink).4) it is VERY flexible, yet "snaps back" for easy storage (in it's own storage bag if you want to keep it contained).5) it's LIGHTWEIGHT, in a good way.6) comes with understandable instructions, in case you've never used this type of hose before.All in all, this is a well-made hose with lots of uses including everything from watering your lawn, to washing your windows or dog!Now that we have it, we're ready for Spring!

First I want to address the photo. It makes you look like you are getting a 25-50 foot hose that expands larger. You actually get a hose that is maybe 15 feet and it expands to the length listed above. I say that only for clarification because this product is cool and super perfect! It is small and bendable and easy to store. When you turn on the water it naturally expands and lengthens, but you can also pull it and lengthen it yourself. I am a little worried about pulling it and the pressure it will put on the faucet, but I have needed to pull it and so I am very happy. I will be purchasing one for our backyard as well.

This is a fairly good quality expanding garden hose that comes with the spray nozzle attachment with multiple settings to spray water as you desire. The hose will handle a normal range of pressure but if you put too much pressure on this type of hose it is likely to spring a leak. The hose does expand and contract easily so it is practical to store when not in use. It comes with a storage bag that you can use to keep it in a handy location and keep it protected. Be sure to follow the instructions and place the included insert in the fitting before using the hose so it doesn't leak. This is about what I expected for this type of hose.

This hose is AWESOME! Very light weight so it's easy to handle and store. I particularly like the spray nozzle - it has every setting you could possibly need - I can mist plants, lightly spray them, or really blast water if I need to clean something. I've used the hose almost every day since I purchased it and it is holding up well. It's a real labor saver - no wrestling with a heavy, awkward hose and it collapses so that I can put it on a shelf with no hassles.

I love this hose. The fittings are heavy brass, and maneuver easily. With the lock on the end, a hose head is not needed. The hose material is durable yet flexible. My ten y.o. loves watering the lawn ( and the neighbors dogs) and has no trouble getting the hose stuck on the patio furniture. This hose also, almost, puts itself away. As the water drains, it recoils. I had a 'pocket hose' once; this is exponentially better.

The garden hose can reach a long distance and the different watering patterns make the hose viable for many different situations. Additionally, it's very easy to wrap the hose up again.
