Is this motor brushed? i need to use it with an esc in a rc model.

It is a brushed motor not brushless. You will see on pic that it has two terminals and not 3.

what diameter is the actual drive shaft, 6MM?

Yep 6mm round side to round side (smaller of course if you measure the single flat side)

is the shaft loose or wobbly? I want to mount a 5" plate on the shaft and have it turn without wobble.

No obvious wobble but I'm only driving a 1 inch wooden gear. It appears a sturdy metal geared gearbox and at 30rpm I think it would be ok but depends on weight and accurate balancing of a 5 inch plate
