Floxite Tabletop Mount LED Lighted Travel and Home 10x Magnifying Mirror

Bought this because I was going to be living in a hotel room for 10 days. It worked fine, lights were bright enough for both makeup and eyebrow maintenance. Loved the 10x magnification. The angle isn't adjustable but you can use a towel to fix that, just fold it and stuff it under the bottom until it's the angle you want. Works like a charm. I should never have read the review that said it is shaped like a toilet seat cover, it's all I could think of every time I looked at it. But it worked great, definitely recommend this light. Update: Dec 16, 2016 .. just back from another 5 day trip .. the mirror is still working great one year later. I have probably used it half a dozen times now for a week or so at a time. Considering you only use this for a few minutes a day when traveling it SHOULD last a long time. Update: Dec 14, 2017 .. back from another 5 day trip .. still working, still same set of batteries. I really do love this thing, my home mirror puts out a lot of heat, this really doesn't put out any. I made a simple quilted cover for this, I keep it in the original bubble wrap cover and just slip it all into the quilted cover for travel. Probably doesn't need it, but the extra padding makes me feel better. When I get home it all goes back into the original box in the cupboard. Update: Mar 31, 2020 ... still going strong. Finally had to replace the batteries. The quilted cover is wearing out but not the mirror! I travel a LOT for work and this is a lifesaver for me.

I purchased this product years ago and have absolutely loved it ever since. It’s been a reliable travel companion on all my trips. On a recent getaway with friends, everyone was asking about it! I wish I had written a review sooner. I highly recommend it—compact for travel, great lighting, and excellent magnification. I'm planning to buy a couple as gifts for my friends.

I just lost my first one in Kuala Lumpur (had it since 2007) and immediately came home and replaced it after trying another model that was way too heavy. I never leave home without this (put the batteries in a separate bag wrapped separately in plastic wrap). It lets me get ready in the darkest hotel room, the magnification is strong and the mirror quality is wonderful. Doesn't weigh much, either. As for the lighting…it was enough to let me put on basic makeup at 4a.m. in an African tent and in one tent it was my only source of light other than a flashlight. One thing: it folds back a little too far for me and it's too low, so I always have to prop it up on my makeup case or a phone book or something. To solve the tilt, I wrapped some duct tape around the cardboard core of a roll of tape (after using the tape) and I put it in the back. The 2" circle is just enough to prop the mirror and make it straighter. The duct tape keeps it from slipping and the thing fits in a baggie along with the mirror and the batteries. Pop it all in my suitcase and I'm off!

This mirror was purchased to replace an identical one which got broken during travel. It is the best-lighted portable makeup mirror I've found. I like that the lights are led, not fluorescent. The mirror is a fairly good size so I can see my whole face. I really like that it folds nearly flat for travel and is very lightweight. It would have been nice if it came with a case. I happened to save the velvet pouch for my old mirror (the one before the original of this one), which fit it perfectly. My other criticism is that the mirror only stands at one angle which is too low if placed on a vanity, so you have to bend over to see your face. I have solved this problem by placing it on top of books or other items to raise the height. I have exhaustively searched for other travel makeup mirrors, and have owned two other styles. This is the best of them. The others I had had dimmer light and were too heavy.

I have purchased 3 of these. I love the size, magnification, and travel friendly use of this mirror. However it’s made of a cheap plastic and they break very easily. For the price I would expect more quality.

this mirror does it all for us, it is something we can take on our travels so my wife can put her make-up on wherever we are in the world in the comfort of a chair instead of standing over a sink or wherever. The Seller, Hawthorne, shipped quickly, efficiently-nothing broken- and I am very pleased with the value I received for the money I spent! I am thinking of buying more for gifts to give away!

I just received this but already know it's going on every trip with me. I had been looking for a lighted magnifying mirror so was reading the reviews on this one -- I'm glad I went ahead and ordered it because some of the reviews made me wonder if it was going to be what I wanted or not. But it is! It is a good size -- the mirror is clear, not wavy as some people said. The lights work well and it stands up at just the right level. I never had a good mirror to take on trips and either couldn't see to get my make up on or couldn't get to those annoying little hairs to pluck that are difficult to see. Well these make all of that visible to my tired, old eyes! You won't be disappointed. I love this mirror and can't imagine ever going without it! Thanks Floxite!

I agree with many of the other critical reviews of this item ... it is very cheaply made & despite the supposed "DFP Distortion-Free Glass", it is difficult to keep one's face in focus while using this mirror. If it were not for the lights on the sides of the mirror, it would be totally useless. My main complaint, however, is that the cheap plastic "plugs" or pegs (that hold the 2 pieces of the mirror together) keep sliding out. They come out by themselves every time I use it; even if I try to be diligent to watch after them, they still slide out. I kept having to re-insert them into their former place, which is very annoying, esp. if you're in a hurry. Finally, both pegs fell out one afternoon; I looked everywhere, but I was unable to locate 1 of the plastic pegs. So now, the mirror is lop-sided and does not stand up straight very well. If I lose the other one, there won't be any way to use the mirror anymore. This company is unresponsive. All in all, the mirror is too cheaply made and not worth the price I paid for it.

Best mirror for my aging eyes- powerful but gentle led light , very portable and convenient fold over stand.

If you wear glasses you should be able to remove them for putting on your makeup. For those that said it wasn't very bright, I disagree. I find it amazingly bright and it works great. I am extremely glad I bought it. I was going to just keep it in my suitcase for travel, but I like it so much I plan on using it all the time.

Good quality, LED lights very effective. Down side it looks like a mini toilet seat.

I've taken this on a couple of trips and it is exactly what I was looking for! My eyesight is terrible and in the past I took my giant, heavy makeup mirror along on trips (it weighs a 'ton'!), but this is perfect. Super lightweight, bright light, big magnification for the closeup work I need to do. This is only for VERY detail stuff like eyeliner or eyebrow plucking, so you won't see your whole face. If it breaks I'll buy it again!
