Great design and valves - nice clean installation
I had not seen one of these quick connects with integrated valve and receptacle cover before. This design works great, and the included 1/2-inch male connector worked well for my set-up with an added ball valve that I plumbed inline to my hose from the grill. The brass fittings and connector were stout enough after attached to the 1/2-inch black pipe that they didn't need any support. The stainless steel housing slipped behind the valve and fittings and attached to the brick wall to conceal the fittings. I just used masonry fasteners, but the included fasteners they provided with standoffs were very good too.One reviewer mentioned sharp edges on the stampings. I only found one edge on the horizontal top of the cover with a burr, so I ran emery cloth/scotch-brite over all the edges just to clean everything up. I had no trouble drilling extra holes or using a regular file to file more clearance to an edge of the first brass fitting. The cover does open 135 degrees, and it even stays up on its own. Very handy when you make the gas connection. For this 1/2-inch size, the clearance for my finger and thumb to pull back the collar was fine. I made sure the cover was not biased too much left. It would have been better to bias the cover to the left, so that the valve handle leave the cover door slightly ajar. The tapered cover did not close all the way because cover stopped at the valve handle. Probably this one size stamping is used for 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4-nch designs, and the bigger ones barely fit.I added that big black-handled ball valve to the included male fitting that you see in the pictures. That way my 24-foot PVC line to the grill doesn't need priming every time I hook up the grill (mine goes back in the garage each evening). I added a 2-1/2 inch brass nipple so that it extends out of the box with the cover closed when using.I'm really happy with how the installation turned out. I'm glad it is all CSA certified for Canada (probably better than our UL certs in US for gas line). It is better than a pipe and connector that sticks straight out of the wall, possibly getting bonked by something. It is functional and gives the connection a nice clean look on the side of my house.

Excellent build quality
Very well built. I like the ability to have a cover on my exterior gas outlet rather than expose the valve to the elements. Installation is easy. This model includes a 90° so you can have the gas line enter from below or behind the unit.

Incredibly overpriced but does exactly what it should
If you know anything about putting together gas lines, you can easily piece this thing together for about 1/10 of the cost on here (maybe even less). However, it is a quality product. The stainless steel cover is probably the only thing you can't buy from your local hardware store.

Excellent
Excellent BBQ 🔥 Hookup.. Tidy. Neat and it's not exposed to the elements or someone tampering with.. And it looks good overall and just works.. Also support was very knowledgeable when I called also so that 💯 was a blessing as well. Using a Natural Gas outside is great and having this hookup is even better.

Looks great!
Love the look and wanted an easy access valve to shut the gas off when grill not in use. I Attached the brass 90 that came with kit and bought a 18" 1/2 pipe to get me through the block wall. I plan to use a small whip to connect from pipe and tee into my dryer gas line. Saw a comment about connections not lining up, I would have to disagree. Connections line up, quick connect slides easy and door closes well.

Clean installation but expensive for what you get
I recently had a gas line put in to be able to hook up a gas grill on my patio. I was attracted to this product because it gives you a clean installation for the quick disconnect and provides a ball valve to isolate the gas grill when you are finished cooking. Overall this product answers the bell with respect to both of those goals. I was a bit disappointed when not all of the hardware came with the product, also for a few brass fittings and a cover it's certainly priced pretty high (I paid much more than the current price), especially since the grill I purchased came with the 1/2" quick disconnect that is part of this product. Also, four of the mounting holes are covered by the U-shaped brass fittings so when you are mounting this, don't do like I did and drill your holes before you figure out which holes will be covered. Finally there was no hardware for the provided rubberized clamp to mount it to the back plate of the cover. I basically had to improvise with my own hardware, mark the holes in the brick through the back cover plate (no template provided) and then move the assembly out of the way to drill the holes for the taps. Since my gas line was already installed, I installed a riser and attached the brass fittings, performed a leak test, mounted the fittings to the plate with my hardware, marked the holes, and drilled and then attached the cover plate to the wall. There was no way for me to tighten the mounting clamp to the cover with my hardware which was a screw with a lockwasher and a nut with the cover installed so I had to do it that way. A simple fix would be to provide a carriage bolt with a square hole in the back plate to prevent rotation or maybe some allthread with a few lock nuts. There was no way I could use the provided spacers the way they were intended with my lead taps so I ended up using the locking washers as my spacers to finish mounting the assembly. There's very little in the way of instructions or product information for this thing, so no joy there. So overall, clean installation, but missing hardware, very little instructions, not very well thought out design as far as mounting goes, no template and overpriced, three stars for the clean install.

Great quick connect for natural gas grill or generator
This is the only company that makes a 3/4 " quick connect housing for natural gas. I needed the 3/4" because 4 burner Weber grills have a 3/4 in gas line not a 3/8" or 1/2". It is a bit expensive for about $20 in brass fitting but I guess the cost is in the Stainless housing? In my opinion it's well worth it for the clean look and finish after all spending $2000 on a grill what Al's. another $140 bucks right? It has a 1/2" inlet before the shut off valve I ran 1" gas pipe then used a 1" to 1/2" reducer at the end. My 4 Burner Weber works perfect with this set up. I can also now plug my natural gas converted Generac generator into this connection also.
