Kitchen Grips 2-Piece Long Handle Pan Holder, Black

These are great little kitchen grips. They slide right on to the end of your pan. I have quite a few pans that are either cast iron or stainless steel handles. I often will put the pan right on my grill to make a sauce or to store my food. These are great I have not burnt my hand since I've purchased, I've had them for several months and they're still in great shape, they grip very well and are comfortable on my hands. I've actually put mine through the dishwasher to clean and they come out perfect.When I first got the item I was afraid they would be too small, that is not the fact they are small but they do a big job and do it well. These Kitchen Grip Long Handle Pan Holders work great. I purchased them as one of my pans has a handle that get very hot while cooking. I have to either find a potholder - which is kind of awkward to try to keep the some what skinny handle from slipping through the potholder. Or I'm grabbing the nearest dish towel to wrap around the handle. I found these wonderful Handle Sleeves that slide on my pan handle, they are easy to grab a hold of, not bulky in your hand. They have a Non-slip grip, non-skid, raised nub surface which truly makes these Pan Holders so great. The other thing that made me LOVE these Handle Sleeves that much more was that they are MADE IN THE USA, that is hard to find these daysl

If you like cast iron skillets (we do) these are super convenient. They're obviously much less bulky than a mitt or other type of pot holder, and you can leave them on the handle while cooking, which is sometimes useful. They're a little looser than would be ideal, but I suppose that makes them more universal. You just have to grip tightly enough to ensure that a heavy pan doesn't rotate inside the grip. All said, we use them a lot and I'm glad we bought them.

They work great as far a keeping the handle cooler. Just don't get them close to the flame with a gas stove, the stink when burning.

I recently invested in some top quality cookware that is oven-safe. Because of this, the pans don't have any coating to protect your hand, should they get hot, which happens all the time. I was looking for something that would keep the handles cool to the touch during cooking.The design of this product is great, although you must hold the opposite end of the pan to ensure you can get the grip onto the handle. The product is easily washable and made of what seems to be a good quality material.However, these only work if I wait to put them on before I carry the pan off the stove. If I put them on while I'm cooking, so that I can stir something often or am cooking some thing where I need to go back and forth to the pan, these don't work. The pads heat up and are no longer cool to the touch. I was hoping to find something that would stay cool and allow me to grab the handle whenever, throughout the cooking process. My search, unfortunately, will continue to find something that works.

After my son severely burnt his hand on the handle of the Stainless steel Cephalon fry pan right out of the oven, I bought these for the future to protect the family. The Cephalon handle is larger around and longer than other pans I had handle covers for. These are a little wider, so the LARGE I pictured, will fit the 12” Cephalon fry pan handle. I would not use it to cook IN the oven, just for AFTER baking to protect everyone hands. The handle doesn’t get hot on the stove, just in the oven. It is made of Neoprene (wet suit material). The top is smooth, the bottom has soft bumpy grips. Made in CHINA.

This works great! No more burnt fingers.
