I didn’t pay attention to dimensions so I was a little surprised by how small the package was, but the fold out quality is beautiful and engaging.

Much smaller than I thought they would be. This book is cute and has a few interesting facts and visuals, but it was not a great buy for the price, I feel. But I can't give anything with the Louvre less than three stars. The problem is the scope of the Louvre cannot be captured in a book like this.

Far too small to use in a classroom setting.

Is this better than an actual trip to the Louvre? Not really BUT if you want a keepsake or wish to see what to expect on a forthcoming visit this is a nifty little book. Teachers will find this a great way to set the mood for a art lesson. Spread the book out in the classroom and let the students enjoy the various scenes. This is a cool series so you might want to look at some of the other venues featured.Book provided by publisher.
