Tape Brothers Carton Sealing Tape 2" x 110 yds or 55 yds 2 mils, Several Colors

This is a ton of tape! I run a home based business and go through a tape like water so I was happy to buy 6 large rolls at one time. The purple is a great shade and makes my packages stand out (and not easily opened/resealed by thief's). It sticks well to both boxes and polymailers and it easy to cut. I live in Arizona and have trouble with tap "melting" in the sun and have yet to have that issue with this even though it's been over 110 this week. I hope it holds up just as well in the winter. I'll defiantly get more of this when I run out of my current stash.

The tape color sticks to your item. You can pull the tape off but the color does not come off. It just pulls the clear coating off the tape and leaves the color in your item.

I needed this to cover old labels but even two layers does not cover them. We had to use paper under the tape to have any effect. This is more opalescent or translucent but not 100% clear like regular packing tape. It has ZERO coverage for anything underneath, you will still clearly see anything "covered" by the "white" roll of this tape. It sticks fine but it does not work for our purpose and should not be called "white".

We purchased this product to help us in our move. We assigned a different color tape to each room of the house. It helped us and the movers because they didn't need to ask as much where items went. The only drawback was I used it to both identify and secure the doors on a beautiful computer hutch. Sadly the colored tape glue came off onto the surface of the cabinet when I removed it. I had to use a product for removing sticky substances which removed some of the finish, also. Then I had to re-stain the area and gently buff it to get it to blend. In short, it is a wonderful product BUT do not apply it to furniture.

Used on scratch built RC planes over foam board and Styrofoam - works great!!!!!

So I didn't know what to expect from "carton sealing tape". I mean...what is a carton, anyway, and why would I have one? I bought this to use as packing tape to organize my move. I haven't been very impressed. The tape is thin and not very sticky. I'm looking back over boxes that I have taped up and they are coming untaped. I'm disappointed. I'll have to get some more tape of another brand to secure the boxes.

When I have to return stuff to Amazon, I have to put the label on and cover that with clear tape, but that leaves the original labels. You can either try to tear them off or cover them somehow. The best solution I've found is to use this tape: just put a chunk over any old bar codes.

I love this purple tape! Sticks well and has great coverage with the color so I can cover old labels that I can’t tear off and reuse packaging. Gives a nice touch to my packages and I ship a lot of them. I will definitely order again!
