Okay, the auger is fine. Strong metal, will work great. The gloves that were included were nice in concept, but whatever rubber type material they are coated in smells like donkey farts. (I apologize to donkeys everywhere, because that probably is an insult to the pleasant smell they create compared to what these gloves smell like.The gloves actually triggered my gag reflex as soon as I opened the package. At first, I thought I could air them out because perhaps it was just a new glove smell that would eventually dissipate. NOPE!I left these for a day or two sitting out in the garage and the only thing that happened was now my garage and Jeep started to smell like these stomach-turning gloves!I had them in the trash ready to go back to the dump where these gloves were surely born, after a raccoon made sweet, sweet love to a fully-loaded baby's diaper.If you suffered some type of accident where you have lost your sense of smell, then, by all means, consider this a 5-star review across the board for both the auger and the gloves.

I havent actually used this product yet, and to he honest I only bought it for the auger to make holes to plant grass plugs. I didnt really need to gloves. The auger itself feels and looks sturdy, so unless I have an issue I am not going to update this.The gloves though are kinda way cool. The left hand is a typical garden glove covered in that vinyl stuff. The right hand however has these sort of claw like caps on the fingers. They would be good perhaps for hand digging/hand raking a bit. I think if I had a choice I probably would have wanted those on the left hand and not the right. (Hold drill in right hand claw as necessary with the left) also the gloves are a bit big for my hands. I am not sure how useful the gloves will be as of yet, but as I stated already, the gloves were kind of a bonus in the first place. I will update if I find the gloves of no use to me. My 5 star rating will remain a 5 star as long as the auger itself works well.

Broke after the 15th hole...bit end that attached to the center of the auger cylinder snapped off....the weld holding it together was paper thin with no penetration

Exceeded my expectations. Much more sturdy and durable than I expected. I gambled and won with these products. Plus, I use the glove when telling spooky stories to the kids when they have sleepovers.

It snapped off at the drill end. Gloves work great on soil that is already loose, like potted plants or established garden beds, but useless on heavy clay soil.

LOVE THIS, BUILD STRONG AND WELL. LOTS OF SMALL ROCKS AFTER LOOM AND THIS HAD NO PROBLEM DIGGING THEM UP. BETTER THAN A POST HOLE DIGGER. I PLANTED A TREE AND LOTS OF FLOWERS. DUG POST HOLES AND ADDED A GATE ……. LOVE THIS ONE

It makes short work of digging holes for your garden. I have very hard ground here in AZ and it does a good job even with all the rocks.

Coca leaf gardening tool work amazingly well. In a few seconds I have the hole needed to plant my veggies !!! Amazing!
