I Am a Big Brother (Caroline Jayne Church) Hardcover – Picture Book, January 27, 2015

We got this book to read to our son before his new baby brother came and it was perfect. It’s very simple and to the point and paints being a big brother and being helpful so nicely. My son got very excited about his new role and how he could help with the new baby. I would absolutely recommend and would buy it again. The pictures are cute and the book is simple, perfect for my almost 3 year old.

Simple yet cute book for a boy who will be becoming a big brother. I find it to be relatable for them and helps them out their new “role” into a fun perspective. I have purchased this for my friends who are expecting their second kid so they can read this to their first borns as well.

My son and I both love this book. It is a sweet dynamic between big brother and the new baby and shows how big brother can interact with and help take care of baby.

Perfect for your child and as a surprise baby announcement reveal! I love this book for my 10 month old. It’s a board book, rhymes and is practical. Teaches kids to be sweet & helpful towards their sibling. Highly recommend.

Cute book to read to our first child before the second came. He likes that the two boys are like him and his brother. We have read this numerous times now. Very cute!

We highly suggest buying this book for your child before their new sibling arrives. We went through it with our oldest before our second was born, and it helped with the transition by making him feel more included. He knew that he was getting a playmate and a chance to help if he wanted. We read it constantly before baby was born and even read it for a few months after. He loved when we acted out the pages and soon had the rhymes memorized. We highly suggest using silly voices and actions when reading this book because it will create positive emotions with page and can translate to more positive emotions about their future sibling.

Adorable book to gift.It did arrive a little warped.I places it under a few heavy books; I think it will be fine. Reason I gave it only four stars is because I believe books should be carefully packaged to ship, and not just tossed in a box with other items. In this case, simply shrink-wrapping it would have helped.

Great book for little children who are soon to become 'Big Brothers'.
