Great helmet but the buckle... aarrrgh!
I've been using Bell entry level cycling helmets for about 35 years. They are my go to company for fit and good design at a reasonable price. And their helmets have saved me in at least a couple of crashes over the years. The Falcon is my fourth Bell helmet. Once again it checks all the boxes: good fit, good value, and reasonably attractive. The suspension is a step up with a very easy to use adjustment wheel in the back. However, the buckle requires way too much attention and effort to release! Compared to my other Bells, it's a ridiculous hassle. The gap in which the buckle prongs are depressed (to disengage the buckle halves) is too small. It might work better for people with smaller fingers than mine, I don't know.To end every ride this way is annoying. I compared my Falcon's buckle with that on my other two Bell helmets I still have. It is definitely smaller than the earlier versions and that is probably the source of the problem. So this wrestling match can be avoided, Bell should reconsider the buckle design immediately. Otherwise, in my opinion, their Falcon helmet is a winner without reservation.
