That I do not know as our B-b-que grill and light is in our screened patio. Great product though and for the money, you cannot beat it and it can be used for other things as well.

Will this work on a traegger grill with the magnetic base?

Will work on an metal surface, sans aluminum. I love these lights, we’re using them on our Blackstone griddle!

Will this work on a kettle style grill?

I do not know. The magnet is very strong- but on my gas grill there isnt enough space to hold it firmly. I have a side tray on both sides- and when placed there it just isnt enough light. In theory- its a great idea that Im sure in the future will somehow be built into grills!
