good kit
For the most part, the kit was great! It includes all the tools needed to replace the battery.With the help of a Youtube video, the battery installation was fairly quick and easy.The double-sided tape has the consistency of thin teflon tape. It is the correct length but stretched easily when I was putting it in the phone so it had clumps where the tape stuck to itself. Maybe, try putting it on the battery instead of the case. Also, one of the plastic parts that looks like a guitar pick broke when I was using it to separate the case. Fortunately, there are two of these in the kit.The tools didn't help much in removing the old battery (the original double sided tape didn't want to let go) but were just right for all the other steps.When changing your battery, TAKE YOUR TIME! I probably would not have had the few issues I had if I had slowed down.After the recommended break in, battery life has been good so far

Great buy!
This bad boy comes with a nice set of tools, and adhesive strips for the battery. Works great, and is a big improvement on the original.Be advised, if you are changing out the battery on your own be very careful and take your time. A heat gun is your best friend here as the original adhesive strips on the original battery will be a little tricky to remove without one. Use a blow dryer if you have too, but be careful not to puncture the original battery when removing it as you do not want any battery acid on your motherboard or hands.

The shipping was fast. The battery is strong. Follow the instructions on the break in on the battery. Battery life is very close to the life I got out of the battery when the iPhone 6 plus was new.The tools included were adequate. Take your time, when changing the battery. I got a little animal, and poked a hole in the old battery with a screw driver, and let some smoke out of the old battery. RUN THE BATTERY YOU'RE CHANGING TO AS DEAD AS YOU CAN, BEFORE STARTING

Best least expensive option I could find
My 5-year old iPhone 6 Plus wasn't holding a charge, even in airplane mode. This is as good as an iFIXit battery, in my opinion, but 1/3rd the price. The tools included were premium quality and worth keeping on hand for adding to my tech tool kit. Usually included tools with low-cost kits are throw-aways but I'll keep these drivers and spudgers for other projects to come.Can speak to battery life longevity, but after a few complete charge/discharge cycles the 6 Plus feels like a new phone that can go all day with moderate internet usage.If you're confident enough to follow a YouTube tutorial on iPhone battery replacement, I think this kit will save you some cash with just about a 30-minute time investment.

Appears to be great product with fantastic price.
It is a terrific deal. Though I don't need them, the tools are of more than sufficient quality for a battery replacement. Unfortunately I purchased a "warehouse deal" that was supposed to be new but damaged or open packaging. It was obviously actually previously sold and returned since the adhesive strips were missing(blue and pink plastic sheets were in the box without the adhesive between them). All the reviews mentioning "prying the battery out" and "poking a hole in the battery" are scary. You should continue looking through the DIY videos until you find one that shows pulling the adhesive strips out slowly - then the battery just lifts out. No heating, prying or bending required. I personally recommend the battery cable be disconnected first and then re-connected last(after the screen cables) to avoid possible damage to the circuit board. If you are handy at all, this is not a difficult repair though the first time can be a little strange. May the force be with you.

I feel that this product is a great replacement battery. Everything you need to replace the battery plus the battery. There is no need to wonder if you got or need to buy any specialty tools. You get it all. The only thing I would recommend is to have a magnifying headset. The screws are bloody small😅. I use to working on electronic, but this had me working.In short, great all the way around, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

If u can handle TINY screws you wont regret knocking this job out yourself. Took me 30 min.
Great purchase. Saved me aprox.$40 to $50 doing this myself. This kit has everything ine needs to do this them selves. Tip: use the screwdriver that "looks" to big its magnetic for the tiny screws and things will go back together much easier. Battery actually lasts longer than the day the phone was purchased new. Great product with great instructions. Tip: watch a couple videos on how to remove the adhesive from the battery you are replacing.

Great battery with long life!
I tried to fix my wife's iPhone by replacing the battery! The battery worked well and gives her more battery life compared to the old battery! Trouble is, I broke the screen and since it was a really old model she wanted a new iphone. She still uses the old iphone on Wi-Fi and battery works great!
