SOONWELL V-Mount Plate Power Supply with LP-E6 Dummy Battery 15mm Rod Bracket for DSLR RED Cameras,Camcorders, Monitors

I gave this two stars because the mount is fairly sturdy and seems to be decent quality, but the LP-E6 adapter (DR-E6) that comes with this is NOT a direct replacement of the LP-E6. I bought this package specifically for the LP-E6 adapter. See the photo I included. The battery has two grooves, one on each side, the adapter has a groove only on one side. The battery has a square hole at the top for a locking lug, the adapter does not. I wanted this for my Blackmagic Design Micro Cinema Camera, but this will not fit my camera, even though the battery for my camera is an LP-E6. This may work in Canon cameras using LP-E6, but beware if using for anything else you may have compatibility issues. I had to spend more money to buy a correct LP-E6 dummy adapter that works.UPDATE: I added another start to my rating (now three) because the construction of this mount is very solid and accepts my Kastar batteries. I'm still torqued about the LP-E6 adapter not fitting, but I've got a workaround and am otherwise pleased with the kit.

I am really happy with this item. It was almost exactly what I wanted. I didn’t see an option with 2 d-tap instead of DC but I can use the d-tap on my battery same time do not a biggie.One thing I don’t like: they placed the 12v DC connector directly below the d-tap port and all d-tap plugs will angle down, blocking the 12v plug. I’m using a solution that requires both and I’m not liking how much I’m forced to bend the d-tap plug

This plate is almost perfect. My only complaint is when attaching a V-Mount double plate to it, the nuts don’t hold perfectly and I had the plate tip while shooting an event. Other than that it’s solid.

I honestly cannot believe more companies are not building these units at more reasonable prices like Soonwell. This unit is solid, solves all power needs and is light weight/compact. I pair this with a v-mount to NP battery brick so I can use inexpensive NP style batteries. Hands down the best way to power your camera rig for a reasonable price. If you want to spend double get the Lanparte but I have heard that it has some power issues. I may purchase v-mount batteries in the future but the NP's are working great. I am getting ~6-8hrs battery life from my Sony A7s and a 7" LCD field monitor with 2 8600mah NP batteries! My only wish for this device would be a battery life indicator on the side but it has not hindered my shooting without it. I love not having to pop batteries every 30-45min on a shoot anymore! I can now focus on more important things like the content im collecting. Thank you Soonwell for reliving my DSLR video shooter pain for a small amount of cash.

I use this for my Panasonic GH4. The dummy battery it comes with does not work w a GH4 so I had to purchase from B&H photo another dummy battery (D-Tap) made specifically for the GH4. I use a v mount battery with the Soonwell and the D tap GH4 dummy battery and it works fine. I power my GH4 and a 7" external monitor. The Soonwell also has other power outlets. Its durability is yet to be determined, but it looks and feels pretty solid. Very light weight. Have not used it a lot yet.

Because if it I fried a monitor, I plugged it in backwards, and it allowed me to do it, because the plug is too wide. A correct build of a plug, will not allow you to connect it backwards. outside of that, the item works fine. However, I lost over 300 on a monitor, they really need to build a better connector plug on the device. If you are looking to invest, spend a little extra and get something else.

So far so good. I have been using this now for several months and it is VERY handy. I bought it for my Sony A7sii rig and its great for power distribution but I have also used it in other circumstances where I needed dc power for another device and it was a life saver!

作りもしっかりしているので、コスパが良いです。
