Exactly as described, very powerful magnet, that is inset so that it doesn't slide apart. I use it as a safety clasp for my dogs collar. Holds strong enough I can even use it with the leash unless he pulls very hard. Carabiner is fine if generic, just a bonus for me

Used this on 10 dives so far. Magnetic connection is very good and strong enough to hold the octopus regulator in place and easy to reach. I attached ti by a cable tie to the 2nd stage hose and clipped it to a D ring on myBCD. Biggest concern is if it is stainless and does not rust. I rinse it after each day, and so far no issues.

This item works great. The magnet is strong. I am using it as part if my scuba gear.

It already broke

Strong magnet. Makes taking off a key very easy while letting the car keys in the car for a few seconds without turning the motor off.

It was smaller than expected, but the reason I give it 4 stars is because the clip kept getting stuck. I wanted to use this for my work keys which I have to take on and off all the time throughout the day so having it get stuck open makes me a bit weary, and the magnet was nice and strong but maybe a little too strong.
