A Boy No More-Good Read
It was a good read about a boy who goes to war fighting the Japanese. The book is part of a series (which I did not know at the time when I ordered it) I wish I had known it was a part of a series so I could have ordered the other books as well, but still a good read. Enjoyed it!

My son who hates to read stuck with this series. I'm not sure how much he enjoyed it-- but he read it. So, that's something, right?

A Boy No More
Book review: A Boy No MoreI recommend this book for grades 6-7, It takes place in Hawaii and Bakersfield, California. Adam is forced to move out Hawaii and into California, because the tragic accident that happened to his dad. It was hard for Adam, Bea his little sister and his mom to leave Hawaii. So when Adam left he had to leave his Japanese best friend Davi behind. Everybody in Adam’s family know that his dad died besides Bea, because they think she is not old enough yet to know and she would be heartbroken So whenever Bea asks when is daddy going to be home they just say he is still serving the country. Adam writes to his friend Davi every once in a while, but one of the letters that Davi sent back was if he could help him find his father. Adam accepted the challenge and sent out on a long journey to find Davi’s father, but Adams mom does not agree with Adams idea of leaving on a search for Davi’s dad. I rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
