Light for a man, or a very strong woman.
Im 5'7" and 178lbs, i cant lift them by myself. Is it possible to extend the return window? I wanted to use them for a wheelchair but i wasnt able to move them. I didnt meet the return date but i havent touch them at all.

Lightweight and sturdy
I had to purchase for a move to a new residence, And they worked as expected. Some of the reviews I had read previous to purchase calmed they were very sharp and complained of being cut from them. I had no issue with this.

Great ramps
Well designed and sturdy. I coated the edges that rest on the truck tailgate with spray-on rubber coating to help protect the truck and make the edge less slippery.

Great for lighter equipment; need to plan for lawn tractors
With a pick-up truck and various yard implements – lawn tractor, snow blower, tiller – I periodically transport equipment either to dealers to be serviced or to help friends. I had used two 2 x 12 boards with special lip and pavement attachments to load machines onto my truck bed. They worked great at our former home where I had an inclined driveway. But our current home is on flat ground, making the boards’ angle steeper, and it’s trickier.I was intrigued, then, by the CargoSmart Aluminum Fixed S-Curve Ramp with Treads. I hoped the curved ramps, with treads, would make the job easier. In general, they did. Pluses: the ramps are *much* lighter and easier to handle/set up. They’re safer with two included tie-downs for each ramp. The tread is great. They fit perfectly onto the back of the truck, very flat against the open tailgate. They’re simply perfect for my snow blower and I expect they will be for lighter implements. The fact that they’re aluminum also frees me from worrying about whether they’ll rust or rot if left outdoors. The curves on the ramps proved a mixed blessing, however. The seller advises in bold type not to drive equipment up or down the ramps. I always rode my John Deere up onto the truck with the boards. I tried pushing the tractor up the new ramps, and it went well with the initial concave angle, and then became much more difficult with the final convex angle (see photo, set up without tie-downs). I barely managed it to load it by hand – and it’s simply too hard a job to do again myself. So my options are; get help; use a “come along” winch; or go against recommendations.I’m not going to recommend the latter. However, the seller states the ramps have a 1,500 lb. capacity (together), my John Deere weighs roughly 450 lbs. and I add about another 200. I would also mention that, unlike the rigid boards, there is some “bounce” to the ramps.Any issues are strictly with loading. The ramps are terrific for unloading. I never drove off my truck on the boards, and the ramps allow me to roll the John Deere off the bed, easily keeping it in control. This is where the tie-downs are especially valuable, keeping the ramps snug and secure against the tailgate.

Surprisingly light weight
Initial impressions: the ramps are very light, especially compared to my homemade wooden ramps. They are easy to fold and unfold and easy to place on the truck tailgate. However, they are so light weight that I'm not sure I would trust the 750# rating per ramp. That's 3/4 ton for the pair. I do not intend to load them to the breaking point and I'm sure some engineer somewhere has done the math, but I don't see these ramps holding that kind of load repeatedly. Also, I'm not sure what the thinking was with the curved shape. The curve means that in the bottom and top thirds of the ramps the slope is less steep and the middle third is steeper than if the ramps were straight. The instructions say push or winch the atv up the ramps, never drive up. That means that the middle third takes more pushing than if the ramps were straight. For my heavier vehicle, I plan to put supports under the center hinge as I don't have a good way to get it in my truck without driving it, which could add some stress to the ramps. These work for any standard truck beds, or could be used on the back of a stock Suburban or full-size van. They would be too short for a vehicle with much extra lift. Straps are included to help keep the ramps from slipping.Build quality is average. There are minor defects (messy welds/dings) out of the box not affecting product use.

This ramp saved our bacon!
we asked for this product because we had some equipment that needs repair and we can't lift it directly into our pickup truck. This two piece set is very strong and very light. It's easy to set up. The day it arrived our power failed. We have a backup generator but it's broken (the initial reason we wanted to use this ramp was to load the generator into our pickup for repair). When the power went out early Sunday morning, we knew there was no time to repair the old generator. First thing in the morning we rushed to our local home store and we were fortunate enough to find the last 6500 W generator. It weighs 200 pounds. The store people helped load our truck. When we got home, we took the ramps out of the carton and immediately set them up on our truck. The heavy generator slid easily down the ramp (without getting away from us. The ramp has a great texture.).This is a truly rugged product. I can't say enough good things about it. It folds in half so that it's easy to handle. It comes with straps that allow securing it to the truck. It works exactly as advertised. We love it!
