Watts0887718 800M4 1" Freeze Resistant

My 800M4 failed in a rare hard freeze here in south Texas. I was surprised to find I could buy replacement parts and upgrade to a freeze resistant version at the same time. While I was a little concerned because the parts are plastic, I researched and learned that the plastic in use here is specially designed to be as strong as metal, not corrode, and work well in this constantly wet environment. I got the parts, replaced them in about 5 minutes (in the dark no less) and it worked perfectly the first time. The manual is easy to understand and this is certainly a DIY job. I highly recommend fixing your Watts PBV rather than hiring a contractor to replace it if.

It’s perfect replacement part and works great. But it lasts only 2 years in extreme weather conditions.

as I was getting ready to start my sprinkler system after fertilizing and seeding, much to my dismay I found that the anti-siphon valve finally gave up the ghost after a harsh winter and was leaking severely ... fortunately the original metal stamped label (hard to believe anyone still makes a quality metal label on anything) was still firmly attached to the side of the valve, and albeit weathered from years of outdoor exposure, still legible (thank you WATTS for making a high quality product) - I quickly called my irrigation service and after receiving an astronomical estimate I decided to go on-line (thank you Amazon) and see if I could find the valve and parts myself and replace them - so that's when I found this awesome vendor who shipped me the original WATTS manufacturer parts in original factory sealed bags with instructions in English and a schematic with it (hard to believe) and having an accurate description and make/model fit, fixed in 10 minutes after opening the parcel - highly recommended vendor and would purchase again - I am so pleased that some companies and vendors out there are still so reliable and still take pride in ensuring long life, accuracy and quality in their products - going forward I will always look for the WATTS name where applicable for their products in water pipes/valves and related applications

I replaced the one broken from the freeze weather we had in Texas this winter. I saved hundreds doing it my self. So easy anyone can do.

This kit has all the parts needed to replace a busted valve. All you need a a screwdriver to install. The actual replacement took about 1 minute and I could not be happier.

I've had to buy this replacement pack several times as I keep forgetting to drain ALL the water out of the Backflow Preventer. It goes in easily (and should as I've done it several times) and works fine once I get the seals in correctly.

We tested our sprinklers about two weeks too early, and consequently the pipes froze and broke this pressure cap. I was happy to find this freeze resistant kit on Amazon. None of our local stores had the repair kit in stock (apparently everyone's pressure caps cracked this year), and I was pleased to find a freeze resistant option.
