Best of the best
Bought as a gift for my daughter. She uses it every day, sometimes multiple times. Amazed at how quiet it is, and how well it blends. Replaces a Vitamix that just wasn’t up to the job.

The 1st button on blender doesn't work
I've bought several of the blendtec blenders. The 1st button doesn't work. Which leads me to believe this isn't new, possibly refurbished.I should've used it earlier since it only had a 30 day return. Disappointed with the product considering the price.

Fast and quiet blender. Well worth the money.
Best products if you are a restaurant owner who looking for a fast and quiet blender. Compare this to the expensive Vitamix this is mile ahead and well worth the money. The Jar handle is much lighter and easy to wash compare to Vitamix.

Great quiet blender.
One star had to come off because the soup cycle spills liquids out. The cover is a plastic that is soft and bendy. The other thing I dislike is the grove on the front which is hard to clean. Other wise the blending seems to work good. Quiet as a whisper that is what I love about it. Also this blends with limited amount of liquid. That I like too. You can have thicker smoothies. The built is so far solid. I have not tried cherries with seeds yet. hahaha. I wonder how much this blends the seeds of cherries. hahahaha. So far very good. Oh the other thing I wanted to try is to cook spinach with it. Like spinach soup. But I have to first wait for the vented cap see if that holds liquids better. Update I did blend cherries with pits today and had little left over crumbs in the drink. This after 2 25 cycles of smoothie setting blends. Probably gets it to finer grains after a longer cycle but the fact is the cherry kernel does not contain any health benefits. In fact it can lead to the creation of CNH cyanamide hydrate which is a deadly toxin in the 50 mg range. No alarm the cherry pit contains very small amounts but what i am getting to is that no harm is done if you leave the cherry pit in and you don't need to break it down good. Just one smoothy cycle gets it separated. So you can run it through a filter to remove. Great to process cherry for the lazy boy. Just one cycle cherry and water and you use a swifter to remove the kernel pieces and read to the rest of your smoothie. By the way same goes for most seeds. They contain chemicals that mixed with enzymes in your stomach and they create the toxic cyanide which you don't want the only thing safe is orange pits, pomegranate pits and water melon seeds. But blend tech stood up to the test no damage on the blade or the jar from the pits. Great product. Use it every day and all times of day since it is so quiet.

Quiet but that's about it
My Vitamix does a great job blending pretty much everything but I did not like the noise it produced while my little grandson was present so I purchased this machine. It is definitely quiet! Thats why I gave it a '3'. The problem is, it doesn't blend well. I end up having to do several smoothie cycles and I still end up with chunks of spinach, dates or frozen fruit, etc. The directions are terrible to try and figure out. I can't figure out if it goes past '7' so I contacted Blendtec customer service but they were not able to give me any help whatsoever. She did say there is a "breaking in period" of 3-4 weeks. What??? That made no sense to me at all. Wish I would've been more proactive with this and returned it before my 30 days was up.
