Very handy for large handled spoons. Love that it doesn't take a lot of space when not being used. Be aware than thin-handled (small diameter) utensils slide downward until the "bowl" of the spoon/utensil hits the holder. Then the far end of the handle sits on the stove or counter. This allows liquids on the utensil to run down onto the stove/counter. If the contents of the pot don't have a lot of liquid it's no problem. If the utensil has a wide-diameter handle it remains gripped and is held horizontally.

This is pretty much the best invention since, well, since spoon rests - only a whole lot better!!! I've always hated transferring a dripping spoon to a separate spoon rest or plate. I've often left my utensils in the pot with the food only to burn my hand because of transferred heat or have a not so high quality utensil soften in the soup. This pot clip works so well. It clips easily to the side of my pots and fits the handles of all of my utensils and the little rubbery projections firmly grip keeping the utensil from sliding. The bowl of the utensil remains over the pot so the contents drip right back in and don't end up all over your stove-top or counter. My daughters are fortunate to have husbands that love to cook and both of the guys got these handy pot clips as stocking stuffers. And I bought a second one for myself! Great invention!!!

I was anxious to use it so I wouldn't have to have a spoon rest dish. It clips onto surface well, but doesn;t hold the stirring spoon nor spatula well.I seems fairly sturdy and is easily cleaned.

OK, I bought this for myself, but it would be a great gift, something a person would not know they need but be happy to have.I have a spoon rest, but hate to use it so I try to balance the spoon on the pan handle with varying success. This solves my problem. It also keeps food from boiling over. I frequently have to clean boiled-over steel cut oats off of my stovetop. With this (and the spoon about an inch below the top of the pan) the oats didn't continue to rise. That alone was worth the price.I am buying more for gifts.

This comes in very handy while cooking pasta and sauce.

Quality seems good, so far has fit every tool I have without slip or balance issues. I'm liking it!
