Awesome book with great time period info and the designs are great too as I mention in the Egyptian title from the same publisher these design spark your Imagination and with several twist and blending portions you could come out with a very own design for your story characters

This book has great pictures that help develop background knowledge about this time period. I have used this book and these pictures to build comprehension for esl students and those with minimal background experiences in reading groups and social studies classes. It helps build visuals for these students so they can create scenarios as they read.

i homeschool and my daughter and i find these books a very useful and fun way of studying history. she also enjoys fashion design and it is very interesting to see how fashions have changed through the centuries. hours of relaxing fun-not just for the kids!!

Really handy resource
The Tom Tierney books are handy brief reference for period costumes. In this case it's the coloring book version. They are pretty well researched, and since they are coloring books, it leaves you free to interpret and use your own color scheme.

J ai acheté ce livre pour les costumes de l époque et je trouve que les tuniques portées par les femmes sont totalement modernes bien sur, il faudrait mettre au gout du jour, mais les idées pourraient plaire aux couturiers d aujourd hui pour moi ce livre est parfait comme tous les livres de ce dessinateur talentueux
