Cables Block Tether Lock Quick Release Plate (Arca Swiss Compatible)

Very good quality, made of aluminium not plastic.I use it to fix my tethering cables on DSLR while in the studio. It holds the cable very well and allows me to lock the camera on tripod at the same time if needed.Highly recommended

Good quality and fitted the tether tools cable.Turn knob to fit seems a bit flimsy though. Might not last. Otherwise fit and finish good.

I love it when I find a little gadget that makes life just that little bit easier and I've been after something like this for a while. Securely holds usb cable to my 5D III when I'm tethered to my laptop and at a fraction of the cost of the Tether Tools version. Only used it hand held so far but appears to be a perfectly good fit on my tripod ball head as well. The added benefit is the fact that it has four different diameter grooves to fit different sized cables or alternatively more than one cable at a time, so will be handy for video and time-lapse rigs as well.The ring for tightening the screw is a little small for fat fingers but nothing a coin in the slot won't solve. The added threaded holes on the underside will also be useful for mounting the plate on other kit as well.Happy days!

Does what it says - holds tether cable securely without pinching.Screw has toggle so you don't need to faff about finding a screwdriver or coin to tighten. Toggle could do with being bigger like the Manfrotto for bigger hands - but it works.Really, really useful 1/4 and 3/8 screw holes on the bottom of the plate to accept other adapters - this allowed me to screw in a standard Manfrotto adapter for use with my existing Manfrotto tripod.

Really recommend - works w Nikon and feels really sturdy!!

As stated half the price of tether tools equivalent and does the same job

i was looking to buy one of these from tether tools UK, but this is a fraction of the cost and does exactly what i need!
