Hearing Aid Battery Powerone size 10 made in Germany Genuine Pack

The batteries are VERY difficult to remove from the pack. I have used these batteries for years with complete satisfaction. I understand the packaging is required by law and any new batteries will be packed this way.

Let me preface this review by saying that I've been using Powerone Varta size 10 hearing batteries for at least 10 years and have been a completely loyal consumer. Until now...The last batch I purchased was a complete dud. None of the batteries in the whole pack of 60 lasted more that 12 hours when they usually last 2-3 days. Could just be a fluke, but I'm not willing to test it. Expiration date on the packaging was 2028! Not to mention the HORRIBLE new packaging! As many others have mentioned, the new childproof packaging is abominable. It's not just childproof - it's completely people-proof. And these are for an item that is used by most people who likely do not have children around and are a little less dexterous than we used to be. And for crying out loud, when you need to replace a hearing aid battery, it's usually an urgent matter when you least expect it, not when you're home next to the pair of scissors! Even with scissors, these suckers are a pain to open. Big, HUGE thumbs down on the packaging. Which packaging team thought this was a good idea anyway?! Sadly, it seems all the hearing aid battery companies are going for the childproof packaging these days, but maybe there's a better design out there. Sorry, Powerone, I will not order again until you change the packaging.

This is the 3rd time I have bought these they're good for a few days, good price, next day shipping.

Battery is great. they last anywhere from 3 1/2 to 4 days. Would have received 5 stars if not for difficulty getting battery out of the child tamper proof packaging. It's really inconvenient when I am not at home and do not have a pair of scissors handy

Have bought these before and even my hearing aids came with this type of battery. Have used other batteries the past but find these last longer

The batteries were exactly as expected! They are high quality batteries, with extended expiration dates - -December 2022 (VERY HAPPY to see this date, although I will have used all of them within 3 months LOL). GOOD value for the money.

Have used this brand for 10 years. Always happy with them UNTIL I RECEIVED MY LAST ORDER WHICH HAD “CHILD PROOF” batteries. Not only are they “Child Proof” they are ADULT PROOF ALSO. MAYBE EVEN HUMAN PROOF! Virtually IMPOSSIBLE TO GET BATTERIES OUT OF PACKAGE!!!! Trust me when I say this! This is the most difficult package to open to get the batteries out that I have ever seen!! Even with surgical scissors one must virtually destroy the entire package to retrieve two batteries for their hearing aids. Not to go on and on about this issue BUT the manufacture has completely ruined an otherwise great product by changing the package! I love the quality of the batteries but they don’t do me any good if I can’t simply get them out of the package! It’s just crazy what the company has done! I am sure their sales will drop to zero very soon unless they come up with new packaging. So sorry I have had to write this negative review - I really liked these batteries for all these years but will have to find a more user friendly brand now. JS

The product is fine the child proof packaging is horrid. In order to get to the batteries one now has to carry a pair of scissors with them in order to get to the battery which is sealed in a tough plastic. When ur out an about carrying scissors to get to hearing aid batteries is ridiculous. Whereas before access was simple n easy. No scissors needed. Who needs to use these batteries? Mostly elderly. The company should provide, as pharmacy’s do, an option of child proof packaging or not. I won’t buy this brand again.
