A very good product - worth the high cost
Recently my brother-in-law and myself rode across the country, from Portland, OR to Tampa, FL. I purchased the ATLAS specifically for this ride. My brother-in-law also purchased one but it didn't come until the day we left, so he used two other devices for most of the trip and then the ATLAS for the last 3rd. Without getting into a long winded story about how it performed each day or whatever, I can simply say this device worked exactly as stated. You get up to the speed you want, push the appropriate button, and it locks your throttle. You can then make micro adjustments to your speed as you ride to compensate for hills, etc. And to turn it off, a simple press of the other button disengages the ATLAS. It's probably one of the easiest devices I've ever used. Installing would have been fairly easy, but because my bike was being serviced and the mechanic had already installed these before, I let him do it. As for my brother-in-law, he used a paddle and some other device that he said worked OK, but when he finally got a chance to install the ATLAS, he said it was like night and day difference. So I'm taking that as it worked much better than the other things he had. I don't know what to say on the price. Yeah it's fairly expensive, but it works. I like things that work. And would pay the amount again if I needed to. If you're planning a long ride, I'd HIGHLY recommend considering this device.

Best on the market !!
Love it, No installation issues with the top kit for a Kawasaki Concours . I have a aftermarket aluminum throttle tube & aftermarket non heated grips. Plenty of clearance so selecting a friction bad was easy & you can move the throttle lock left or right to change the friction pad pressure without changing the pad if you have the clearance. Also with a metal throttle tube no chance of over tightening the clamp & crushing your plastic tube so it is properly installed & working. The price is right around the same as the quality break away style or weighted bar end cruise control, so I'm happy with the price, quality & engineering of the Atlas . THANKS , GREAT JOB GUYS

Works, but not worth $155
For the price tag on this I expected more. Does it work?…. Yes. However, at $155 it should work amazingly with ease and look attractive on the bike. The button to engage the lock is pretty stiff at first, would not have wanted to try it while riding. It is unnecessarily large and looks clumsy. The housing does not need to be so huge. Less is more!

Not worth it
I bought this thinking it would be a better quality than my previous throttle lock (two rings with a bar that crosses over the throttle box) but it’s terrible. Sure it’s got easy installation but you can’t get past the sticking throttle without having a very loose device. The $50 throttle lock I bought works s heck of a lot better that when I was shopping I showed the local bike shop Atlas and they thought about buying some to have on hand. I actually found myself calling the bike shop to let them know this product was not worth the money. All metal is nice, but a sliding throttle is a lot nicer.

Overpriced, but works well for my Zero SR.
I bought it for my Kaw 650 Verseys, but I decided to try it on my 2017 Zero SR. I used the bottom kit and the number one pad. The pad fell off during installation, but I was able to glue it back on. But it works very well to hold the throttle, so I cannot complain too much. But I would say it's overpriced by at least a hundred bucks.

Great throttle lock
I had one of these for years on my Kawasaki Versys. Easy to use, works great, and stays out of the way. I tried several other brands on my T7, just wanting to try something different and cheaper. I tried the model that goes on the bar end; too finicky to adjust and engage. I tried the cheap one that hits the brake lever; awkward to engage and ugly. I also tried the big paddle looking one; it was in the way and not a true throttle lock. Ultimately, I caved in and just got another Atlas, which is what I should have done all along. Sure, it's not real cruise control, but if that is not available this is the best alternative.

As described. Easy install
Pretty simple install. It’ll do what it states it will. No issues so far.

I really wanted to like this
I really wanted to like this, I just couldn't. I tried reinstalling and making adjustments, but I just couldn't get it to work the way I had hoped. When I thought it was adjusted correctly it was in the way of my thumb controls and turn signal, and it still didn't maintain speed. This may have been due to the chrome switch housing instead of stock, but being a universal part, I would not have expected this to be the case. It may work for others, it just didn't work for my '02 Softail.
