This piston was a perfect size fit to replace a failing unit (unknown but old opener). Once the old unit was removed* the replacement was easy to fit with no need to cool it down, although I had removed the whole unit from the vent. The vent is now working with full range of opening again.* not a fault of the piston but the old one was very difficult to remove from the tube on the unit as it had seized. Being an old unit I think there must have been some corrosion of the aluminium inside the tube. Squirted copious amounts of WD40 down the tube from the opposite hinge end and used a mole wrench to complete the removal!So to summarise - very pleased with the replacement piston which is working superbly. Prompt prime delivery and good price.

It was easy to fit & adjust. Even strong enough to open the sliding door when connected by a cable.

Used this to replace a single spring window opener which had failed in my Rhino glasshouse after 5 years use (3 others are still working OK). I made the mistake of removing the original unit from the glass house and replaced the piston on my bench. Replacing the piston only took a few minutes removing a clip and screwing the old out and the new in. Reinstalling the complete unit back into the greenhouse however took about 20 minutes as it was fiddly and easy to drop the small assembly screws. Not the replacement cylinders fault however, as that was easy to install. Been using it now for a few weeks and works well.

Fitted existing window mechanism perfectly

This literally took less than a minute to install and just worked with no issues.Much cheaper and easier than installing a complete replacement, the old cylinder had visible wax leakage around the piston rod and was failing to close fully.

Very simple to fit and adjust. Works perfectly and at a reasonable price.

Great replacement part saves time taking the whole thing down to replace just the cylinder. Easy to swap with the old part, unscrew and remove the pin. Lining up the pin takes a bit of time, I put grease on to make it easier next time.

Habe mir diesen Ersatzzylinder für mein Beckmann Frühbeet gekauft. Das Frühbeet ist schon über 10 Jahre alt und so alt auch der automatische Fensteröffner. Da ich die automatische Öffnung wieder nutzen wollte musste Ersatz her. Dieser Kolben passt perfekt und funktioniert einwandfrei!

Utilisé pour ouverture automatique d'une porte de serre. Tout se passe bien. Jusqu'à présent et prix attractif par rapport à d'autres.

Ik heb 2 raamopeners besteld. Zou 36,99 euro kosten. Werden echter 39,98 euro in rekening gebracht.Bij de prijs van 2 zou de vermelding Prime staan. In mijn geval stond dit er niet bij. Pas nadat ik de pagina geopend heb in een incognito venster kwam dit te voorschijn. Lijkt mij niet helemaal juist, maar de Amazon medewerker kon hier niets aan doen.
