It uses the american plug but getting an adapter isn't enough since it says it can only use a certain voltage. Voltage adapters break down easily from my mum's research and also have constant problems with overheating, so just not worth it in the UK

It cooks a cup of rice in about 20-25 minutes and it's incredibly easy to clean. I have been making beef stock rice with veggies in it and it comes out perfect and moist every single time.
