All around solid wood being used for this chair definitely worth the extra money.

Spent $1000 on these 4 chairs as was so excited to get them. I literally stared out the window all day waiting for them to arrive. We’ve been working out butts off on our basement remodel which is a cabin/sports theme. They showed up early., which made me more excited…..Boxes were handled horribly in transit. Every single chair was chipped and damaged. The legs would not fit into the holes at all and the first one broke when we sat on it. I have bought hundreds of items from Amazon over the years and this is by far the worst product I’ve ever ordered.Then I contact customer service which of course is rerouted to India and I’m told I have to haul all 4 of these boxes to a Fed Ex store and ship them back. I asked for a $25 credit on my account for my troubles and all the guy did was read answers off a piece of paper which had nothing to do with my questions. Do not buy this trash! They are oversized as well. By the time they are shipped from China they are already ruined. This is complete garbage and I am absolutely livid. I’ve ordered 32 items in the last 3 days totaling over $4000 and Amazon prime could care less.

There are a lot of parts that are not labeled. The parts do not fit together correctly and very difficult to assemble. Requires a lot of your own tools. Thank goodness my husband is a mill wright and is very smart when it comes to stuff like this. It still took him a considerable amount of time to assemble.

Bottom of legs should be cut level. They sit on corner edge and because angle is wrong, you can't put on any type of pad to bottom of legs

I like the looks of the stools once assembled. I bought 5 and it takes awhile to assemble fyi. They seem to have loosened up significantly, both the arm rests and the seat/swivel itself. Not very impressed with the overall sturdiness and I've only had them just over a month. :(

Ok. These chairs did not look quite so flat in the purchase picture :-) good thing my husband is handy. Just saying. I don't see where it's indicated that assembly is required. I might have missed it. Quality looks good otherwise.
