As a newbie when it came to changing tyres on my bike (well, I have changed car tyres before lol), these tyre levers made it an absolute breeze to remove and install my new set of tyres. I like that you can pull the tyre lever, and lock it into place via using the spokes on the rim, making it so that you can easily work your way round the rim, until it's loose enough that you can pul one side of the bead (the bottom on which the tyre sits against the rim) and then it's the same on the other side! These may not be top quality, but these are sure to be the best priced 'decent' quality tyre levers, and I would suggest you try these out for yourself 😎 (they come in a nice little pouch as well, so you can easily chuck them in your toolbox or toolkit)

I like to keep a pouch of everything that I need to repair a puncture attached to both my bikes. Early one bright but chilly morning, I got a puncture a few miles from home, removed the wheel, started to remove the tyre and promptly snapped one of the plastic levers that had been included as part of a small puncture repair kit. I had used these successfully before, but presume that this time they had become brittle and broken because of the cold. I was unable to fix the puncture and had to walk home pushing my bike. I therefore ordered one set of these metal levers as stronger replacements for the broken set and subsequently ordered a second set to replace the plastic levers in the pouch on my other bike. They are small, sturdy and reasonably priced. Yes, they have been used to repair punctures.

If you have nylon tyres on a 700C, you'll know that plastic tyre levers are next to useless. These are much better and allow plenty of leverage and the spoon end gets right under the bead for lifting the tyre off. As long as you are careful and work methodically and carefully, you won't damage the rims.

Its best suited for escooter tyre, the plastic ones made for bikes with bigger tyres usually break when used to change escooter tyre. These metal ones are what work best for escooters
