Works decently as on the single dot setting, but begins to diffuse around 20 feet away. The other settings make the laser start to diffuse much closer and it’s not like a cat is really going to care what shape it’s in. Better off with a more condensed point that would travel farther and keep the cats interest. For the money, can’t really complain.

Our favorite thing about this pointer, isn't the changing laser from a dot to some odd number of things, is: that you don't have to hold down the button to play with your cat (or dog). You just flip the switch and point. Our cats love to play with the laser pointer and often times holding down the button to use the laser is what ends the fun.The rechargeable battery via USB is nice, wish it had a cable attachement so that you can play and charge at the same time if needed.

This is a great little flashlight/ laser pointer. I mainly use the laser pointer to play with the cats. It is nice to be able to turn it on and not have to hold the button to keep it on. It is lightweight, bright and is lasting a long time on the charge.

I have had other laser toys before but this one is definitely the best - the cats go absolutely crazy for it and it is a great way for them to burn off energy. I love that the laser setting displays different shapes and that it includes a flashlight and blacklight too. The added bonus is - it is USB charged and I don't have to worry about changing batteries. The only unknown is how long the rechargable battery will last...

The laser pointer works well and holds a charge for a very long time. The different shapes are a little difficult to make out, but we mainly use the red laser setting without a shape to entertain our cats. Would highly recommend! The switch button makes it easier to play with over having to hold down a button constantly!

This is sturdy and works just like they say. Good value.

I like the three features, primarily the laser for cats, but also the flashlight that gives an even circle of light - no bulb distortion, and the ultraviolet feature, which we have not used yet.

Cat loves this.. only surprise was it charges by USB but i had one. Works great. My cat just has to wait while it needs a charge
