Extended the life of my laptop
Clear instructions on replacing the battery but I do recommend viewing a video for those less experienced with this type of process. It's not simply removing a battery from a toy and replacing it with another. The laptop is working as if it's new and lasting several hours (I haven't totally discharged it to see it's maximum time). I recommend this product and with some patience the process is very doable.

Easy fix for my laptop
I had watched my original battery lose it's charge and finally had to keep it plugged in all the time -- needless to say inconvenient. When I found out I could purchase a new battery with an easy install, I didn't waste time. The battery was reasonably priced, came when promised, easy to install and works like a champ. It keeps a charge well -- wish I had known about this battery sooner!

Battery life drop to half an hour after 1 month.
I bought this battery for my macbook 2013. The installation is not hard by following a youtube video I used. And I strictly followed the way: for the first 5 times, I charged the battery to full and depleted completely. Then, after 2 weeks, the battery life shrinked to 50 minutes from the initial 2 hours. Now after a month, there is only half hour left. Sometimes when I watch a short video (5 minutes long), the batter percentage would suddenly drops from 97% to 7%. *Don't buy this product.* $70 is a lot. And I missed the 1 month window to return this batter.

First one was not recognized by Late 2012 MacBook Pro Retina Display... But Amazon was quick to send out a replacement.Replacement battery works great, easy install, and holds charge like a champ.

Battery lasts less than 2 hours after 1 month of use.
Installation was pretty straight forward. It worked perfectly for the first few weeks, but after about a month the battery only lasts less than 2 hours.I just watched the charge go from 61% to 15% in a matter of 15 minutes.I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble of removing this and sending it back.
